I looked at your past comments and post. You my friend are the incel. Insecure at best. If you have constructive advice give it, don't just offer your opinion.

The IDGAF mentality is discussed a lot on here and it has done me a lot of good. One issue that keeps coming up, and something I constantly overthink is what my family tries to force on me. I'm constantly asked "When will you marry, when will you get a serious girlfriend?" (I'm 25). I try to brush it off the same way i would if somebody not in my immediate family would ask, yet it feels different and I feel pressured to "date seriously." I love fucking, and I love women, but Im growing my career…

Great post. Simple, but I needed to hear it. I've been dealing with the same thing.

Agreed, and there were plenty of IOI's, but I tried to make the FR succinct and direct

I started seriously lifting 6 months ago. Every single day. Drastic improvements have taken place. I'm 6'0 and weigh 175 lbs. This is the first week I've maxed out on bench to see where I'm at. I finally reached my goal of two plates (225 lbs)! Nowhere to go but up from here. 3 plates here I come.

Great post. Lifting and changing habits is easy compared to developing a strong frame. This is one thing I really need to work on and your post is insightful and detailed.

Lifting is key. It has been the most important factor in raising my confidence and my SMV. You're post is a bit narcissistic but I applaud you for keeping up with the gains. Keep at it.

You mentioned you are around the same size....Are you just small, or is she overweight? This is not meant to be derogatory, I am just curious because if the latter is true there are probably much better women out there for you and an LTR is not what is optimal. Also, how often are you fucking?

By far, the most unique post I've seen in a while. I've done something similar with plates, but I use strikes. 3 strikes and you're out is the expectation I set...but this is far more dubious. I love it

I'm sorry, but you are wrong. You are right about doing compound lifts, but free-weights are extremely beneficial if done right. "Newb gains", "Natty". I don't juice. I lift for aesthetics and strength. What's the point of being strong, if you don't look appealing? I see a lot of huge dudes in the gym (some maybe on roidz), but it does not look good at all. I think it is a balance. Of course I want to be stronger, but I want the definition of my muscles to increase as well.

Also, good, inexpensive foods to eat, are chicken breast, tuna, steak (depending on where you get it from). Great sides are sweet potatoes, carrots, green beans, and I really use tuna as more of a snack, but even the small packs are 17g of protein i think. I use to think eating a lot would make you put on weight and get big, but it's really all about eating the right foods. Protein allows for quick muscle recovery and growth. Eat your body weight in protein for 3 weeks while working out and see …

I am a strong believer in selling yourself. I had minuscule experience when I first got out of college (a few internships, and odd serving jobs), but if you can write an effective resume and explain to an employer in a cover letter how you can be of benefit to their company you can get any job you want. Job hunting it much like picking up women, to an extent. It is a numbers game. There is no one job you are guaranteed, but the more you apply and the more companies you reach out to the better ch…

Honestly, I would just do a job search and look into healthcare consulting companies like EPIC, Cerner, Vocera, Tigertext, and more. Those are some prime examples of healthcare technology market leaders and have good competing salaries and very high-end consultants. Tailor your resume to reflect your ability to deal with people and be prepared to answer questions about resolving conflict, and what solution you came up with. That will grab the attention of most employers in this industry.

Diet is what is most important. I eat lean protein (My body weight in protein everyday, which consists of three meals, all lean protein with vegetables, and two protein shakes, plus my BCAAs) and a decent amount of carbs before I workout for the energy. For my workout: I began with exercising every body part for 2 weeks to get my muscles used to lifting weights. Then I broke it down into 3 days in a row with a rest day in-between. Like this: Day 1-Chest, Triceps, and Shoulders. Day 2-Legs. Day 3…

So I actually work in the healthcare industry, and do healthcare technology consulting. I was a communication major (business minor) in college. We work with communication systems in hospitals that send patient information on a secure system between nurses and physicians. There are lots of companies like this. Ironically, I am actually transitioning from consulting to Project Management. But, consulting is a such a loose term. A lot of companies use it to identify their frontline employees that …

My current job does involve a lot of desk work. I also travel pretty frequently which does allow me to get out of the office, which is nice. I would highly recommend getting to know your coworkers, and develop daily routines, such as taking walks and breaks, to get your mind off of work for at least a little bit. I even do desk squats and stretches as strange as that sounds. I even started a daily riddle I post on our conference board to start group discussion, so we aren't just staring at a com…

There was advice in his post. Such as: limit wasteful activities and focus on your trade/craft. That's what I'd say it boils down to. At least, that's what I gathered from it.

Excellent points, and I'm glad you've begin to focus on yourself first. I've been reading "The Rational Male" and there are so many truths to be had. My initial goal when reading the sidebar and lurking was to figure out what I was missing when it came to women. Much like you, I began to hit the gym hard, focus on my career, and it became apparent to me that what I was missing was a genuine desire to further myself. The confidence and ability to get women became much more simple after that self-…

I love your phrasing: "Fail with women, lose frame, realize it doesn't matter." The last part about realizing it doesn't matter is the most important part. Wayne Gretzky - "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take."

I agree. I fucked up. Just sharing my experience. But what do you mean when you say "always get out here now and start cultivating a proper, emotionally intelligent life for yourself in real life too?" Did this not all occur in real life? I'm confused.

Well considering I put myself in that situation by being manipulative and acting out like a bitch by taking her friend out....I'd say I was a bit Machiavellian which I don't think is necessarily human. Maybe it wasn't really blue bill, but I was already fucked.

It doesn't have to be guitar. You could have an art collection, memorabilia of some kind, hell I've even used the "We can play call of duty at my place" (the conversation was unique and played to my advantage, don't use that line randomly ha, most girls don't like COD). Just find something that relates to what you're talking about and take it from there. Any reason or something you're passionate about can work, you just have to be confident in saying it.

You are probably right. Oneitis is a disease. Hence why, I learned from my mistakes and fucked a girl this weekend, and have 3 dates lined up this week.

Don't invite them over to your place first. That is a no-go. They have to become comfortable with you in person (kino is important), then escalate and invite them back to your place. I play guitar and make music and that's the line I always use. "Hey, you want to come back to my place and see some of the music I've made." 9/10 times this results in a "Yes, please." Find a reason to bring them over, not just invite them back for a drink.

This is a great point. Most recently she texted me and gave some long explanation of how I didn't know what she was going through, and her ex boyfriend (that 2 year LTR prior to me) was getting married and he was going on the honeymoon they planned. She was still stuck in the past, and I was just another guy taking a turn.

Extra Note I omitted: When I was out with her friend, she texted her and said she was at some other dudes house (That she has told me she hooked up with before). So maybe she is busy. Maybe she is stressed. But she has time to see other dudes. So I don't fucking care.

I said something very similar to that. Something along the lines of, "You know I care for you, and didn't want to hurt you" blah blah blah

Excellent post. I recently was seeing a girl who I thought was Shit Testing me, but after reading this post I really do believe she just had narcissistic tendencies. She was emotionally damaged because of a past relationship (her ex-boyfriend of 2 years just got married) and she felt the need to share this with me, like I actually give a fuck. All of her decisions were never her fault, and everything that happened in her life was a result of "Stress" or being "busy." She found the need to always…

Very well written, and I do believe that confidence in the most absolute form is an emotional state. Many men including myself struggle with obtaining and maintaining a positive emotional state. Work on yourself and work towards your goals and everything will fall in line.
