Just ask your friend about it. Tell him what you wrote here and ask him what threw those girls off. The shaking hands with the birthday girl seemed a bit off. That’s more of a high five thing.

If that is your normal interaction then you’re opening up very direct followed by interviewer mode. Going in direct isn’t necessarily a bad thing if that’s what works for you and you’re comfortable with. Try adding in some teases or cold reads. Instead of asking her her major guess what it is. Or once she tells you what her major is tease her about it.

I don’t know. Just from your messages, I think you’re coming across as you don’t want to be there. From what you and the girl said, use it as advice. Smile when you first meet the girl. Still give her a hug. Build a connection. Don’t be in a rush and enjoy the time. Or if you have to do something later in the day let the girl know that so she’s aware of how much time you have to spend time. Find things that are interesting about her so you could potentially be impressed by her. Look at the girl …

Don’t let the past decide your future. We’ve all had bad dates. We’ve all had bad days, but that doesn’t mean every day moving forward is going to be a bad one. If a girl agrees to go on a date with you, then understand she likes you enough to do that. Nobody agrees to go on a date with the intention of having a bad time. Next time you go on a date go on with the mentality, “This girl likes me.” I think it would be really helpful to your success. Wish you the best, dude!

So the majority of my life I’ve been jacked, but 2020 to 2022 I got fat. And then after 2022 I got jacked again. My game has remained decently good throughout. The only difference is girls enjoy squeezing my arms when I’m jacked and they’ll make comments about my body. I pulled when I was fat too, but they just didn’t make any comments about my body. Literally the biggest difference is when I’m jacked a lot more dudes ask me what my workout is lol

Why didn’t you smile back at her? And your last comment, “Just shows you can’t win them all”. There was no point in your story where you put in the action to win or even seemed like you wanted to win. She messaged you first, traveled by train to meet you, and greeted you with a smile. She liked you enough to do all that, dude. Dude, trying to be helpful here. If you want to “win” then you have to put in some effort. No girl, regardless of how much she likes you, is going to put in all the effort…

It depends on the vibe, but I do dates at my house on the second date. I say bring her to your place. You’re coworkers so you have a ton of comfort and familiarity already. I always phrase it “cuddle and watch a movie”. I’ll send them the address of my place. And if there is any hesitation on her end then you can always just do something else.

Can’t believe I’m the only one saying Vegas. Biggest concentration of hot girls on Vacation looking for a fun time.

Questions that came to mind: 1) Did you know the timeline you were working with before the 2nd date started? 2) Do you think you could have escelated faster on the second date? 3) How were your interaction’s with the friends? Do you think they thought you were cool?

Don’t ask for directions for the simple reason that contextually it’s going to take you away from wherever it is you met her. Literally say anything else.

Her willingess to fill the silence is a good thing. In general context she’s genuinelly curious what you’re thinking about. In specific context it depends on how you’re looking at her and how she says it. When you’re looking at her that way, what are you thinking about actually? That’ll probably let you know how it is you’re looking at her. If you’re silent and chill you could come across as stoic. If you’re silent and thinking about you two together then you may come across as flirty. If you’re…

Anytime a girl asks me a question and I’ve been embarrassed by the answer and they’re quick to say “it’s okay” or “I don’t care”. It’s like a weight off my shoulders and I can relax.

Certain things just don’t come across right over text. The whole point of texting is to meet up in person or maintain a level of familiarity. If you had the date planned already then keep the texting to only essential and fun things. More “real” conversations can be done in person or on a phone call. That line you used can be used in person when you know the girl is already into you. Over text it can come across the wrong way from what you intended.

Completely agree. Being kind is just being honest and being attentive while still being kind to yourself. Telling a girl something you don't like is being kind to her and yourself, because it's honest. A nice guy can also be a pushover. Someone who doesn't stand firm in their beliefs. Someone who, at the slightest bit of opposition, will just agree with you. Someone who will tell a girl what she wants to hear as opposed to being honest with what they want to say. Or when they do say what they wa…

If she's meeting up with you then you're doing good. People are busy. The real number 1 way to gage a woman's interest is if she wants to spend time with you. The frequency of her responding to you is overshadowed by her willingness to spend time with you. I think you're good, dude!

Just my opinion from what you shared. I definitely understand the results you got, but I think a flaw in your experiment is your natural personality versus the one you put on. If you're not naturally a "nice guy" then unless you're an incredible actor something will feel off about it. Also, you're behavior as a "nice guy" seemed really clingy in terms of replying right away and showing a lot of interest. But I suppose that's "nice guy" behavior and it is actually clingy. My main take away from y…

Game/Banter in my opinion is like a combination of stand up/improv comedy. So there's lines you say that you know have worked before and then things you say in the moment. There will be some lines you'll observe, but the thing that is more important is the vibe that the character or person is presenting. Some shows that come to mind are the show "Californication", the movie "Vanilla Sky", the movie "Alfie", and certain comedians like Anthony Jeselnik. You'll see how each character has this perso…

For me there’s three situations I’ve experienced. The girl I see as “relationship material” and there’s nothing to lose. A girl where I’m not wasting time thinking about her. Those girls I’ll keep trying and sometimes I’ll get them out again a month or so later. A specific situation that comes to mind was a girl liked me, but was really busy and our schedules didn’t line up. I was traveling for work and she worked a full time job while going back to school. She was active in trying to meet up ag…

It depends on the goal. For me, there’s girls that fall into something casual, girls I want to date, and then girls I want a relationship. If it’s a one off then it’s a one off. If it’s something casual then I want to see her and keep it casual. If it’s a girl I want to date then I continue seeing her. And of the girls I date I decide if I want a relationship. There was a meme I saw along the lines of “A date: an awkward interview where you’re not sure if you want the position”. If you don’t wan…

100% come from the other side if they’re running. If they’re walking you can come from the other side or get ahead of them and start walking with them. Imagine you’re walking up to a friend and act the same way. You would make eye contact and wave from a distance and plant your feet. 1 thing that came to mind was, “is it dark in the park at night?”. If so I’d stand near a light if I were you. Being approached by someone in a dark park can be scary. I would be honest along the lines of, “You caug…

Dude, I have a friend in your shoes and he asked me the same question. If you walk up to a girl and say ANYTHING then it’s a win for you. I’m not saying it’s going to go well, but with where you’re saying you’re at that counts as a win. If you really have a brain fart when you walk up then go up, say your name, and shake their hand.

This is what works for me, personally. I go up and say hi to the entire group. My default line is “Hi, you all seem like the coolest people here”. I introduce myself and shake hands with each person. The more time you can talk to the whole group, the better. They’ll like you more and are less likely to interrupt you talking to the girl you like. And if they really like you then they’ll help you. If it’s 3 girls then once you’ve said hello I just talk to the girl I’m interested in. The other 2 gi…

If you just texted her then give it 24 hours. If still no reply send her a meme or gif catered to her. If she responds take it from there.

It’s shared time and comfort. If you’re a regular somewhere people can develop crushes on you or you get crushes on them, but I guarantee you see your coworkers more often then you see anyone else outside your work. Normal job is 40 hours a week. I doubt anyone spends 40 hours a week around their front desk person or at their favorite food spot. The same way people had crushes and dated people in school. People dated kids at other schools, but the majority went to the same school.
