Women in combat put men at riskWhere did I say I wasn't an NCO? I said a long time ago I wasn't and I was still in charge of NCO's. This just further proves you don't understand the first thing about the infantry. This is the underlying theme of the entire discussion and point I'm trying to make right now. Billet is determined by effectiveness and experience in the infantry. I've been and seen lance corporals in charge or sergeants. That is how the infantry works. Nobody gives a shit about if they feel shitty for being a Serg… | /r/MensRights | 18/12/15 03:48 AM
Women in combat put men at riskAlso how dare you have the audacity to tell me to do my job. I've been around the fucking world "doing my job". Stop trying to assert yourself into matters you know nothing about but pretend you're the goddamn subject matter expert. I forgot you were the one who's put years of blood sweat and tears into it so you should know better not me. | /r/MensRights | 17/12/15 11:55 PM
Women in combat put men at riskYou don't really understand the point I'm trying my make here. Nor the concept of infantry and how it's fundementally different from every other job in the military. Or the fact that I'm the guy in charge of NCO's and have three squads in my charge and have an actual understanding of how things work and the experience to back up my thoughts on the matter. So don't sit back and tell my I'm some animosity filled bigot from your third person perspective when I'm the one it directly affects and I'm … | /r/MensRights | 17/12/15 09:31 PM
Women in combat put men at riskTreating them the same as I treat the male NCO's under my charge is impossible when the unofficial mandates around everything are forcing me to treat them special. You really can't understand anything about the cohesion of an infantry unit and how hard of a hit it is going to take when there's going to be animosity stemming from females in leadership roles they don't deserve, with different standards, special treatment, and various rules and stipulations dictating the simplest of routines. I can… | /r/MensRights | 17/12/15 01:31 AM
Women in combat put men at riskIn the Marines it's all decided by the shiny wearing higher ups who is in what billet and leading who. I've been a lance corporal or e-3 with Corporals and even a Sergeant under my charge. The issue is they are experimenting with putting them in infantry units and will be thrusting them into leadership positions (where effectiveness depends solely on experience) to see how they do. I can guarantee you this will not go well. | /r/MensRights | 17/12/15 12:45 AM
Women in combat put men at riskIt generally differs by battalion but mine will put a lowly lance corporal who knows what he's doing in charge of a corporal or even sergeant. The biggest issue is that isn't going to happen with the women who show up. They're going to be treated differently and have many things handed to them during this integration and it's going to change the entire dynamic of the infantry. I don't care at all if it isn't their fault they don't have experience. I don't care about their feelings or being polit… | /r/MensRights | 17/12/15 12:42 AM
Women in combat put men at riskIcing on the cake is the women that will be showing up to my unit in the next month or so from what we've been told will all be NCO's. So as Corporals and Sergeants they will get team and squad leader billets having no experience. | /r/MensRights | 16/12/15 08:27 PM
