I don’t think there is room for conversation with someone so interested in violence as you. Based on your post history of calling protestors Nazis, I’m guessing you’re fully on the side of the brutal police in every circumstance.

Punishment doesn’t work to improve society as a whole. We see this in America where prisons are very much for punishment, vs somewhere like Norway that focuses on rehabilitation. Also, something to point out, almost nobody gets life sentences. That is extremely rare. Most murder convicts serve less than 10 years in prison. If punishment is the goal, why are they being let out? Because it isn’t. The ultimate goal is to take violent people and make them not violent so they can be reintroduced into…

This is an awful mindset. This isn’t justice, it’s revenge and punishment. Laws can only work if there’s a certain amount of understanding for the human element. If that wasn’t true we wouldn’t have different degrees of murder, manslaughter, and self defense for some edge cases. It’s fair to say that someone who would brutally murder another person without reason, probably isn’t fully right in the head. And that’s probably not entirely their fault, with how much mental illness is caused by cruel…

Average time served for second degree murder is between 3 and 5 years, if they are able to show signs of rehabilitation and progress. Remember the ultimate goal is not punishment, it’s rehabilitation. Especially since this is in Canada which has a little bit better prison and mental health care systems.

You’re on the right track. Twitter does replies ... weirdly. She’s actually responding to the guy’s comment judging women for posting pictures with heavy makeup. He’s saying they’re only posting those pictures for people to look at them and think they’re pretty. She responds with an outlandish example that guys posting pictures of fish must be looking for sex. Obviously that’s nonsense, just like the first example is. Like, you don’t have to explain why you go fishing, you’re not doing it for an…

I like to think humanity's natural curiosity would lead to them digging deeper. At least until they hit the amine part of the internet, then maybe people will learn consequences when cat girls come back into fashion.

I'm not sure what to do with that information.

Emoji keyboards usually have a search function now, so supposedly writing them down from a picture isn't that hard. But every company has different emojis and some of them are complete nonsense, so it's all kind of a guessing game.

Technically, no. Letters represent sounds where glyphs represent an entire word. The difference would be like writing the word "cat" vs the glyph "🐈". I'm like an amateur linguist so I'm gonna go in detail because I want to. An alphabet is a system where symbols (or a combination of symbols) represent spoken sounds. Most languages now follow this structure. Languages like Arabic use an abjad, which is basically an alphabet but leaves out the vowels for the reader to fill in. Individual sounds ar…

That's why I want to outlive my kids, so I can put emojis on their graves and make future people think they were an asshole.

Future people will be looking at emojis on our tombstones a thousand years from now the way we look at glyphs in pyramids. Except when those said things about a journey to the world of the dead and beyond, these just say "send nudes"
