College is another. I've also not been accepted into places (not colleges) due to there not being enough places for me. The have a certain amount of minorities to let in. It should be about what a person's grades, etc. are, not race. And yes, I know it is race, because they had a multitude of questions pertaining to race that weren't related to identifying me.
