Men make up the majority of suicides, majority of homeless people, are the majority of people drafted and fighting wars, huge numbers of men are victims of domestic abuse which they are not offered help for because of their gender, as well as countless other things you can learn in own time, if you would like to educate yourself. Can confirm. Police threatened to arrest me for opening up about my childhood abuse. They believed every word of my abusive mother. They called me a liar because “mummies don’t abuse their sons”. But yes they fucking do. There is genuinely no way for a man to get help as a victim here. The outcome is always pre determined in the women’s favour. Anything else is misogyny to these people.

I think men would be extremely supportive of a non gender based human rights movement of some sort. Most men are extremely empathetic towards equality. It’s about time we had something to uplift us all. I doubt feminists would support that though, because that would require accepting men struggle too. Teaching women to have empathy for those around them could help, as it seems to have helped men.

I’m from the uk. Words can not describe how much pain and trauma I have from trying to get help. I was diagnosed with ptsd from my childhood abuse. They could have helped me earlier, but they chose not to because my abuser was a woman. No one here accepts that women abuse people too. No one understands men are victims too. I have no way out.
