Potatoes can also be grown anywhere. I would, however, strongly recommend cultivating them in the Zimbabwean Savanna, where you place them into the dirt and they sprout the next day, rather than an icy tundra.

u/throwaway-chemist pretty much hit the nail on the head, but something else that I'd like to add is that TRP is not an ideology or a social movement in any shape or form. There is no "team red pill." TRP in essence is a group of observations about the world - how they are interpreted depends upon the individual. The ideal TRPer has never even heard of the term.

So many responses here are delusional and ignore basic, logical fundamentals of how the world works. All of this is true in principle. However, it is much easier to bake a cake by going to the supermarkets, assembling the ingredients, and using an oven, than it is to hunt wild chickens for their eggs, forage the forests for all the ingredients, light your own fire for your stone oven, etc. Point is that practicality reigns above all.
