Very true. I was just saying this to show that discrimination doesn't exist against women these days

This simply cannot be deduced from a name of a company. Fathers see their sons and daughters differently. If a man named his company in remembrance of his daughter, that does not mean that he "values his daughter more than his son." A father might name the company after his daughter, but leave the company to be run by his son when he dies. I'm sure the women would say the exact opposite of what you proposed in that instance. Also, Mercedes comes from Daimler & Benz, the original automobile maker…

Marriage is just a male humiliation ritual. Handing over your balls AND money on a silver platter. Men in the west, I'm sorry to say - do not have much backbone. They let their dicks make the decisions. Yeah, you married that broad because you think she's smokin hot and the sex is great (for now) and she's atleast not miserable to be around. Don't lie. You essentially paid to play. I'm not against dating women or having relationships but marriage is just jumping out of an airplane and your parac…

They're not in control. The men are still, and they have a severe lust for power. Willing to sellout their fellow men to do so, as they've done all throughout history. Just now, they don't use violence.

Why do they keep insisting that single men are all lonely? Like holy shit, I understand they want to push a narrative but aren't they getting exactly what they want?

Okay, let's start with you then, eh? Go and give up your job and give it to someone less fortunate. Equality, right? Or does it just apply to everyone else?

No because it's a zero-sum philosophy. There are a finite amount of opportunities out there. Rocket science, I know. So with your analogy, you cannot just add a piece of board out of nowhere. It comes from somewhere - the other board that you're shaving length off of.

You're witnessing what my grandmother told me 10+ years ago: there is a WORLDWIDE war on boys. It's all part of the global agenda to control the population.

I do my best to ignore those types of people as best as I can. They're performing, nothing more or less. You will never ever convince these people of anything because they don't operate from a rational frame of mind. So my advice is to laugh, give them no attention, and move along as best as you can. Edit: They have sold out their fellow man because their ultimate goal is to sleep with women and be liked by them. Which ironically isn't what ends up happening because women instinctively find them…

The point of this sub isn't to point out either gender having it worse than the other. Most of what I see is elucidating the double standards.

In response to the radical policies enacted by the previous administration, most things are going to seem radical. Wanting secure borders and eradicating gender/race-based hiring practices (I.e. DEI) isn't radical at all.

You just contradicted yourself. If preferential treatment is a form of equality, by definition you're excluding an entire group from this "equality." In other words, you're just taking sides.

"I don't like what you said" = misogynist. To them. Of course when you extrapolate the situation to uncover that they're not capable of reason or accountability, it makes perfect sense. Likewise, men drooling over naked photos is misogyny and objectification. When women do it themselves, it's empowering. When women criticize other women for doing that, they're pick-me girls. When they criticize men for doing it, they're fighting the oppressive patriarchy. These people make 0 sense. It's just ang…

Not true. https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/irel.12318 This was a meta analysis and there is a stark difference in call backs for women applying to male dominated fields and vice versa. My entire point was not to demonize either gender but rather to illustrate that inequality goes both ways.

But the EEOC won't touch it with a ten foot pole. Here's a meta analysis I found that also included their own study. https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/irel.12318 To save you time: "Our study shows that a job applicant's gender influences the likelihood of receiving a positive response from recruiters." This means that women are discriminated in male-dominated fields, albeit the sample was roughly 12 different fields. But it also means that men were discriminated in female-dominated fie…

Not surprising considering the remaining 99% of men are virtually invisible to some the activists and feminists. To me that says it's not a pursuit of equality but rather superiority. And I'm not even just speculating. You'll hear feminists claim women are better than men pretty frequently.

Hi thanks for the reply. I'm not really sure how to decipher this message due to all of the hyperbole. The sole reason I posted this was not to discredit the historical disenfranchisement of women. Not at all. It was mainly to illuminate that we have not "fixed" gender inequality, but rather flipped from one extreme to the other. I do realize that most of the new jobs were within healthcare and that women predominantly pursue healthcare roles and education. However, I highly doubt that only 4% o…

Tl;Dr When uncontrolled, there is an $.82 to $1.00 difference. When controlled this shrinks to $.99 to $1.00 and that can be explained by the types of jobs women choose compared to men, rather than oppression. But that's exactly why that's false. When accounting for the same experience, credentials, and education, the gap shrinks significantly. In addition, men with children earn 102% of what men without children make. Consider this: a married couple both works and at 33 years old, the woman has…

Okay, then by that same metric there is a pay gap between Asians and Whites in America. That's equally as unjust according to you? However, Pew research shows that in both cases there are many nuances to why this exists and in neither case is systematic oppression at fault.

You're hilarious. You didn't even go and watch the entire video nor did you read the article. You probably played :30 and turned it off and then came and wrote that comment. It's referring to new jobs that were created, not people refilling vacant positions.

Actually it didn't. I didn't make any statement. I posed a question which is for you, the people, to decide. Please stop trying to move the goal post. The video was about America, hence I'm talking about in America. You're focused on semantics, which is meant to divert the point entirely.

Oh I'm sorry do you live in Afghanistan? You bring up outliers such as third world countries. But yes, it's unfortunate that sharia law is oppressive to women.

It's not about merit. That much is clear. It's about getting those juicy bonuses and incentives for checking a box all thanks to Affirmative Action and DEI. Or even worse, it's the 80% women HR departments that favor hiring women. There is no such outcome for men when it's men that are in charge of hiring.

If you've ever heard of that guy hoe_math , he cites a study a man did a few years back where he had two identical CVs except on one "he" was a woman and the other he was a man. Out of more than 100 applications to tech jobs, the "woman's" CV got over 80 calls for interviews while the male version got 12. Almost 700% difference. They were the exact same companies. It's no longer a conspiracy theory. It's facts.

Many companies now have company policies that forbid them from giving feedback when they tell you you didn't get the job. It's simply because they'd be sued for telling you your mistake was being a man.

Even simpler than that. They don't care about the principle; They cared that it didn't benefit them.

And what's crazy is that they want people that had nothing to do with any oppression, to be oppressed. Not only is it unfair, it's straight up hypocritical. Not to mention, in many cases of oppression, men were the ones to eradicate that oppression. But the leave that part out, conveniently. Just like people forget that slavery was abolished because half the population of men sacrificed their lives. The Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade was ended because of the British Empire. They occupied West Africa…

Exactly. Definitely wouldn't be the fact that women just aren't applying to dig ditches and chop down trees! /s No no definitely wouldn't be due to there being no other options for the men. However, there are quite a lot of women that ARE on our side. They just aren't loud and obnoxious like the feminists and BLM protesters. Maybe men ought to lay down our pride and start doing the same shit. We need to start a ruckus because otherwise nothing is going to improve. Edit: one of those women happen…

I think it's nice to have some actual data to defend the sentiment that I am sure a vast majority of men between 18-55 (working age) have. There was an article from The Epoch Times that I literally read 2 hrs ago. And this guy nailed every single point. It's like he knew the exact experience I've been having. I just graduated with my Bachelors Degree last June and have had an extremely difficult time finding work within my field, nonetheless in general. And he said that 11% of men between 25-54 …

Idk but my grandma is a classic woman. She cooks every single day and has been a stay-at-home wife for 50+ years. Before that she was a nurse, so that should give some context. She's told me since 2013 that there's a war on men. (Predominantly in the media.) Take that as you will.

Let's replace husband with partner. I'm sure we'd be having a different conversation. Maybe not necessarily you and I, but someone out there would have the double standard and say the woman "sacrificed this and that so she deserves some of it." Also no I don't think morally he deserves any of it. Legally however, if women inherit part of the net worth then why should it be any different for men? It's a double standard and it existed because once upon a time women didn't work and relied on their …

Ironic. She didn't want to share wealth and hid 75% of it from him. But she didn't earn that; It was inherited. I don't understand why the world panders to women -- even fathers.

If men stood by their convictions like martyrs did then we might get somewhere. Let the liberals sit in their echo chambers. Feeding more and more propaganda to those that already hate men. It's the neutral, docile men that need to wake tf up. I stopped watching TV years ago because I was tired of men being portrayed as the dumb fuck oafs that wouldn't know their head from their ass if not for their omnipotent wives.

What about sales? You know that is a sector I rarely see many women in. I'm not talking about selling phone plans at Verizon. I'm talking about tech sales, marketing contracts, medical sales, insurance, finance, etc. I'd say sales are more important than laypeople give credit to.

Men should have just kept doing what we've been doing for the last thousands of years that has gotten us to such a society. Give the women an inch and they take a mile. When will dumbasses learn?
