They asked some questions at a panel. That's what happened. That stuff about them wanting to derail? BS from a Mary Sue article. CalgaryExpo actually tweeted that as the reason why they banned HBB, then deleted the tweet when they realized how stupid they looked trying to use that as evidence. My old reddit account got banned from r/feminism during the Elliot Rodgers incident. The bodies of the dead weren't even 24 hours cold when feminists starting claiming Elliot was an MRA. When I went over to that sub and pointed out there was no proof he was an MRA, I got banned. As it turns out later, Elliot never frequented any MRA site, he went on bodybuilding forums, anti-PUA sites, and subbed to TYT and Pokémon videos on youtube.

This pretty much mimics the case where a teenager was flying his drone around the beach photographing scenery when some woman accused him of photographing people (it was a public beach so her complaint was baseless even if he was). There's a similar mission in GTA V where you kidnap a male celebrity and have the choice of leaving him in a car trunk and parking it on a railway track. The way he begs and bargains for his life is quite realistic.
