The "contractors make more" is an almost universal myth in current government contractors outside of engineers, unfortunately, even in other STEM fields. The REAL benefit of being a contractor is your company can fire you any day of the week and not give you two weeks. Governments love contractors because they provide nothing but yearly lump contracts pay to your employer. I'm a guy and I don't see why you wouldn't want to shave to at least tidy up. I agree, so pretty and you can stay there double the time for the same price. Everyone there is generally very welcoming to Americans and pleasant to speak with as well which is a pleasant change from 70% of Europe. I'll enjoy some local pubs and scenery and hopefully some cultural sites

That is suprising to me, I could see this happening more in Western Europe than East. Then again, ive only traveled to northern Romania so my Eastern European social understanding is low. This saddens me. I was accused of harassment in High-School and now have a legitimate fear of women. I want nothing from them but to just let me be. I hold my breath passing a girl on the street or opening a door or hell even smiling (The last one has been minimized thanks to masks and everyone looking neutral all the time). And now not only are we targeted more to be murdered, but they expect us to take a bullet for a stranger IF they happen to be a woman.
