Some observations on 50/50 after 1 year.Every time I email the school or the kid’s teachers, they always respond with addressing me as Mrs. last name. My first name and email address are unambiguously male. Ha. | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/09/22 09:43 AM
Misandry in the tifu- and advice-subsThis also is the case in offmychest and amitheasshole. I noticed there’s a lot more European women posting on those subs as well. | /r/MensRights | 14/09/22 03:05 PM
When is it ever enoughI agree completely. I loved spending time with the kids when they were young. They even took regular naps too. Cleaning the house for just an hour a day a few days a week and it was spotless. It is hilarious how badly they lie about how hard it is. They are always the victim. | /r/MensRights | 12/09/22 02:02 AM

Ex’s family is buying her a house. Is there anyway this can be accounted for when calculating child support payments? I’m in MA.And I get to pay for all her luxury? | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/09/22 11:22 PM
Ex’s family is buying her a house. Is there anyway this can be accounted for when calculating child support payments? I’m in MA.If I get a promotion or significant raise she can take me to court for more child support. I don’t see how that is any different. At the end of the day, I will be basically living paycheck to paycheck and she will be off vacationing and spoiling the kids. She will have a huge savings account and retirement savings in 13 years when I stop paying child support. I will still be paying off the debt incurred from lawyer fees and refinancing the house and still have nothing. How can I make twice as mu… | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/09/22 06:21 PM
Ex’s family is buying her a house. Is there anyway this can be accounted for when calculating child support payments? I’m in MA.I’m on the hook for $2k a month. I will be living paycheck to paycheck after buying her out. She is going to be rolling in cash. Seems like I’m just screwed. | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/09/22 05:33 PM
Ex’s family is buying her a house. Is there anyway this can be accounted for when calculating child support payments? I’m in MA.We have 50/50 custody and even without a windfall, I would not expect child support from her. I just don’t understand how the courts can be so unfair. | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/09/22 05:09 PM
Top post on r/NoStupidQuestions, "Why is there so much hate towards women on reddit?"Nope. Not hateful at all. You expressed your opinion. | /r/MensRights | 03/09/22 08:53 PM
Top post on r/NoStupidQuestions, "Why is there so much hate towards women on reddit?"Unfortunately, based on what I read on Reddit, my ex wife and many of the women I know in real life, I would say that far too many women are entitled and do in fact avoid accountability at all costs. That doesn’t make what he said hateful or imply that he hates all women. | /r/MensRights | 03/09/22 07:52 PM
Top post on r/NoStupidQuestions, "Why is there so much hate towards women on reddit?"That’s not hateful at all. Do you know what hate even is? | /r/MensRights | 03/09/22 07:32 PM
Wife is threatening divorce. What pitfalls should I avoid during the process? (California)Do not let her take the kids out of state or out of the marital home. I would talk to a lawyer and get temporary custody worked out as a first priority. She can move if she would like, but she can’t take the kids. Stay in your home and fight for the kids. | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/09/22 07:01 PM
There is absolutely no rationale to the male disposability theory, it is just misandric nonsense.I can tell from his post that he doesn’t hate women. Why would you make such a stupid assumption and say that? | /r/MensRights | 31/08/22 03:03 PM
Just sick of her and my life. That’s what really gets me. If the marriage doesn’t work out, that’s fine, but the fact that my ex went out of her way, lied and actively tried to destroy me financially just boggles my mind. What is wrong with people like that? | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/08/22 09:42 PM

Telling a feminist the truth. It’s not near constant. Do you know what the word content means? What are you even complaining about? And I don’t know why you are even talking about dick. Is that somehow how related to what we’re talking about? | /r/MensRights | 22/08/22 07:00 AM
Telling a feminist the truth. Why is pestering such a problem? Having a conversation is not pestering. People bugged me about getting married for a long time before I finally did. Why would that bother you? I hear the same thing from women who say they don’t want to have kids. It’s so weird how this becomes some big plight for women. Who cares what people say? | /r/MensRights | 22/08/22 01:58 AM

Let me hear your financial recovery stories!Hoping for responses here. I make almost $200k and after child support and buying her out on the house, I am living practically paycheck to paycheck. I am working on an out of cycle promotion and it’s looking very likely in the next month or two. Hoping for a 20% raise which will almost cover child support. | /r/Divorce_Men | 17/08/22 12:27 AM

Divorce Feels Inevitable - QuestionsMy experience is that whatever you concede now in the early days of the process will be a done deal. It also won’t count in any future financial negotiations. Do not give up anything and do not accept anything less than 50/50 unless ordered by a judge. My ex continued to ask for more and move the goalpost every time a new negotiation started. My advice would be to not agree to anything at all unless it flows through the lawyers. Remember, this is a negotiation and you never want to start with yo… | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/08/22 05:27 PM

Serena Williams is upset she doesn't get paid to be a mom.I wish I had the choice to choose between a career and family. I would have chose family in a second. No question. How much empathy do you think I would get if I posted that here on Reddit? I bet I’d be called an incel in the first post. Also, no one is being attacked? Why are you so dramatic? Next, are your going to tell me that she’s being abused? | /r/MensRights | 15/08/22 11:27 AM
How have you handled increases in income and child support modification? In my settlement, my ex’s lawyer added all sorts of language to make me give her my year end paystubs every year. That was one of the issues I wouldn’t budge on. I know I am going to be able to get significant raises. I’m getting an out of cycle promotion before the end of the year and will be getting another raise on March. My lawyer said the judge most likely wouldn’t order that and she backed down. Do not share any information about your career with your ex or kids. It’s unfortunate because I… | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/08/22 03:20 AM
We just bought a house and wife wants to divorce, what should I doDon’t talk about the down payment that was a marital asset. You should buy her out of half the current fair market value of the house minus the principal on the mortgage. If you only bought it a month ago, the fair market value should be what you paid for it. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/08/22 10:12 PM
We just bought a house and wife wants to divorce, what should I doThis is just my opinion, but unfortunately, it sounds like you are going to get screwed on the house unless you can afford the mortgage on your own. If you want to keep it, you shouldn’t have to owe her anything since there should be $0 equity since you just bought it. Just be thankful you don’t have kids. You’ll probably have to pay alimony for short period, but since your marriage was so short it won’t be for long. My advice would be to run as fast as you can away from her. Do not get back tog… | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/08/22 07:42 PM
Keeping the house at all costs?I have 50/50 with the kids and kept the house. For me, it was worth it. My kids want to be here 100% of the time. She’s walking away with well over $200k in cash. I will have $0 cash and a ton of debt from the lawyers. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/08/22 04:03 PM
How did you finance your legal fees?I put it on a credit card with a $20k limit. I have been trying to pay it down as aggressively as I can monthly. Every time I knock off a few thousand, I get another bill from the lawyer. Interest is about $120 a month. I’m getting near the end and have to refinance the house. I am going to get cash back from the refi to pay off whatever the balance is. So far I’ve charged around $20k and have a $10k balance. I am expecting another $5k bill from the lawyer by the end of the month. This was all s… | /r/Divorce_Men | 12/08/22 06:30 PM
401K division in MassachusettsThat’s the feeling I’m getting. It seems so odd to me and is why I am asking if anyone had any similar experiences or advice. | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/08/22 02:19 PM
401K division in MassachusettsThank you for the response. I do understand that is what is supposed to happen. I had around $100K prior to marriage, but am being told that it’s not a premarital asset by both the judge and my lawyer because there was no prenup. That is why I’m so confused. | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/08/22 02:17 PM
My wife wants a divorce because different views on spending, am I better off just letting her spend rather than get screwed financially by the divorce anyway? It appears that she is spending all that money on herself instead of putting it into a house. I think the point is that if she was reasonable by either cutting back her frivolous spending or instead spending her inheritance money, a house would definitely be affordable. | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/08/22 03:30 PM

Women can't handle emotional MenMost rationale people do not get defensive when blamed when the blame is warranted. It’s so selfish and abusive to get defensive like that. | /r/MensRights | 02/08/22 03:05 PM
What to do…Accept nothing less than 50/50. | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/08/22 06:44 PM
She's taking half of everything after spending our marriage doing nothing.Yes, I’m in the US. In my state they calculate child support first and if you make less than ~$400k, they don’t award alimony. I will have to pay child support longer than I would have to pay alimony, so I’m off the hook for that. I do pay $2k a month in child support with 50/50 custody. Child support does not end at 18 if the kids are in enrolled in college. Have to pay until 23 or graduation date. Whichever is earlier. | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/07/22 06:18 PM
She's taking half of everything after spending our marriage doing nothing. My ex did that. She had an under grad degree in English and when we got married I paid off about $20k of her loans from that. We had two kids and she didn’t work for 10 years. I always wanted her to work. After 10 years, she said she wanted to be an RN. I paid for that degree and less than a year after graduating and working, she asked for a divorce. She never contributed a dime to the marriage and refused to work and clean. Expensive lesson learned. | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/07/22 10:44 PM
Why do feminists talk about cutting dicks off? It’s unfortunate that they have been assaulted, but it is on them if they live in fear of men because of that. Trauma is not an excuse to think that way. It just doesn’t even make sense. | /r/MensRights | 26/07/22 01:18 PM
When it comes to selling or buying out of a houseI think in that scenario, you put it on the market and split the cash leftover after the principal is paid based on sale price. You would both have to agree to accept the offer. | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/07/22 01:15 AM
Child Support IdeaI have 50/50 custody and she works as an RN making more than enough to support herself and the kids half the time. Why am I paying her $2k per month? Do you always just make shit up? | /r/MensRights | 25/07/22 12:57 PM
Child Support IdeaThe amount I pay in child support is nowhere near what I would spend on my kids prior to the divorce, even when accounting for food and mortgage. I know there are a ton of men in the same situation. In a lot of states, child support is not calculated with the needs of the children in mind. It is just a cash grab. | /r/MensRights | 25/07/22 11:09 AM
