I’ve found that time blocking helps. And if I don’t get to something that day I let my husband know ‘hey I planned to do xyz but ran out of time, it’s what I’ll do tomorrow”. He’s much more understanding knowing that the task is top of mind and not something I’m actively ignoring.

He’s always been generous in his own way but values experiences more than material things. So he expresses his love with acts of service or outings where we can spend time. Every so often he’ll buy a material gift but not usually

I was going to say OP’s SO sounds like my husband who didn’t have much growing up. I appreciate the perspective he’s brought to my life of not always needing new stuff. But sometimes you do! 😂 Gifting him stuff is great because he’s always grateful

How is it for you when you connect with women of similar interest? Can you empathize with them? You might just need to find a “tom-boy”-ish type mate, especially if your love language is quality time and you want to spend that time with your future mate doing typically male activities. The difficulty of finding such a mate who also values RP principles might vary depending on your country and the culture there.
