Being from the UK, I read a lot about the case against the Sun newspaper in the papers and have followed the case since it first began. I get that it is needed sometimes to talk about your feelings and express them, especially strong ones. However I think that as a man, especially in the minefield of a world we are in today, we need to think if the response is reasonable, can it be dealt with privately and the consequences of showing your emotions in that situation. I am a really private person and tend so frustrate people because they will try to pry into my and I will always reply "I'm grand."

Not meaning to play devils advocate, but I find that controlling my emotions and regulating what elicits a response from me has been great for my mental health. I don't believe in denying emotions, unless on trivial issues, but instead on delaying them until a more appropriate time. One thing I did with a teacher that disagreed with me on the subject of a paper, coincidentally about the disposability of men. I comment in red under her comments, why I disagreed with her and gave references as to why I make my point. I got pulled up by administration for "not respecting teacher authority". I simply replied it ain't her job to debate me on my topic, but instead to offer constructive criticism on my writing and how I can improve. I failed that class
