| 4 | Wife angry about equitable financial splittingFollow what the law says. Remember, she is no longer your spouse, partner or friend. If the law puts you at an advantage, good for you. I was on the other side of it but not upset since that was the law and not that I made a bad deal. Good luck, it gets better. | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/07/26 11:48 AM |
| 5 | Never deleting your textsI had a similar situation. A long time ago I started to scan all of my bills and statements keeping them in a PDF format. Forget the fact that she didn’t cook dinner and, of course, no sex. I justify my ‘spousal support’ payments by calculating what she cost me each month before the divorce and what I pay now. | 2 | Don’t get a job till divorce is overI was told that there are accredited services that can estimate your ex’s earnings potential and that figure can be used in the spousal support agreement, at least in Ohio. Good luck | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/07/25 11:49 AM |
| 14 | Mediation is over…Listen to your attorney. That is why you hired them. My attorney saved me a bunch of money by recommending I use a forensic accountant as we worked through the settlement. I was ready to be just done with it. | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/05/25 07:56 PM |
