Does the "long run" really matter though? Seriously. I keep hearing about this "long run" but from what I see, no one is really interested in any "long run". It's all about instant gratification tonight. Very few women I meet want a relationship. Oh they may claim they do, but given the choice between a possible long term mate and a definite short term one who is hotter than they usually get attention from. They'll gladly abandon the long term for the short term gain with a mind towards dealing …

mmmkay.. but doesn't that kinda go without saying? What is it with online culture these days that any discussion of women that has to automatically be given a disclaimer that "MeN dO iT ToO!!" Sometimes such "bothsidesism" isn't necessary nor productive to an honest conversation

Meh.. I've pretty much decided I'm doing just fine. Compared to where I was a year ago I'm in a much better shape mentally, physically and emotionally. I like this sub though. It's approach is a lot more healthy than most.

Tate IS a psychopath. Jordan Peterson on the other hand I really can't lump in with Red Pill. He just speaks a lot of uncomfortable truths. The Red Pill ideology may have some really wierd and out there ideas, but that doesn't mean that it isn't based on grains of truth and I never once heard Peterson advocate for the male dominance or social/domestic control of women like Tate or others.

Did you read the final sentence of my post? I acknowledged that.

Honestly I think a lot of guys find the red pill precisely because some woman inflicted great emotional trauma on them. There is certainly no shortage of tales of women who leave their great husbands for their bosses or co-workers they met at a business function. But then that doesn't take into account the man's profession. My personal experience there are just certain professions that almost guarantee an affair by one or even both partners. 1)Military - I mean really, you're deploying 6 months-…

Assumption based on profession. I'm a humble store manager of a work boot store and then I have a second job at night selling western wear, boots, hats and work clothes at another store for extra income. This is how I am able to wear high end clothes and such because of store discounts. I took the second job precisely for this reason. It doesn't pay outstanding but the employee discount is almost 50% off so I can afford high end clothes. 55 hours a week grants me exactly the state average per ca…

Yeah, at least initial meetups. But I'm very different from them. A lot of those guys are very rough looking guys. Long hair, shabby clothes, ride motorcycles, etc. I'm clean cut, dress to a higher standard and am just "different". Like I fit in better in a higher end venue but the problem when I go to higher end venues are the women there expect men to make much bigger salaries than the state average per capita income which I make almost exaclty. I just don't quite to "fit in" for various reaso…

It's difficult to fight this ideology the same way it's difficult to fight flat eartherism or extremist religious beliefs. This isn't just an ideology. It is a system of core identity that gives thousands of lonely men a feeling of comraderie and brotherhood that they aren't isolated an alone in their anger and frustration. I can totally empathize with these men. They were probably raised by mothers to be little Prince Charmings and Gentlemen and then the dating world changed around them to wher…

Not all the women I interact with are in the 40's and the idea that I should only limit myself to them is a limiting belief that will eliminate opportunities in an arbitrary way. Yes, there are times when I get off stage and I'm like THE GUY and when I approach tables of younger women they become jealous of each other. I'm fully aware of the games women play when they meet a guy who "doesn't get the hint." Well I don't get those hints in the first place and when I do it's usually something like …

Age is a number too me and see I plenty of silver foxes out there getting women in their late 20's early 30's. I'm not saying that will happen for me. But I have to play the hand I was dealt with life. My musician friends are all my age and have much younger women as well. So it seems to me that I'm some kind of odd duck out on that score. "Age appropriate" is a very subjective, fuzzy term. But yes, kids aren't a problem. My dating history is full of single mothers and I have a solid history of …

I often don't. I'll introduce myself and have lots of chitchat and small talk and I look for definitive indicators of interest like playing with their hair, long stares, certain types of smiles, restarting conversations that pause with me. The usual stuff men look for. If I don't get a definitive IOI of sexual attraction I will often bail out of the conversation to not waste time. Sadly, I very rarely ever get a definitive body language signal to move forward confidently and my insecurities get …

Emotional stability, empathy, kindness and intelligence. Everthing in my dating life has been a tradeoff. I could date a woman who was less than pleasing to the eye who would be kind, sweet and empathetic but then I find myself losing physical attraction after a few months. or I have had extraordinarily pretty girls who on the inside were abusive, addicted, narcissistic or bipolar. I've never been able to meet a woman who definitively responded to my advances who was pretty on the outside and th…

I'm 45m and I am actually a very popular man! I have a huge social circle of great friends of all sexes, and a best friend who is like my brother from another mother who is the only man I have ever met who I would trust with my life and more importantly trust alone around my girlfriends. In fact I trust him so much that I use him as a test, because he is extremely good looking and cool so I will intentionally expose them to him and if they hit on him/flirt on him/try to cheat. He lets me know im…
