People who claim that men are advantaged in every way are simply wrong and misinformed. But oppression isn't a competition. If I see a lone man and a lone woman walking down a street following me at night, I'm going to be scared and cautious of both. But the level of threat I feel is based on how strong I think that person is. Most women I could fend myself off against. I couldn't with most men. So I'd try and avoid both, but I'd definitely feel more fear if I believe it to be someone that could beat me up (rather than the other way around) following me at night.
