Ah well that wasn't what I was doing. I was just a contractor trying to cover my ass and dealing with a less than savory colleague. And she was full-time so dealing with it as it came wasn't really an option if I wanted to keep my job secured

No, all it shows is that there are exceptions to every rule. These are evolutionary guidelines, not evolutionary laws that must be abided by in 100% of all situations Especially since nowadays we select mates on other things besides weight. Actually; as disgusting as it sounds with humans, most animals mate as soon as they are able to have offspring. Evolutionary desires are more towards fertility, health, youth; characteristics that reflect those Societal attraction is probably more reflecting fluctuations and trends within those characteristics are already seen as desirable. Hair, nails, clothing trends, jewelry. I am not a cultural anthropologist so someone else would be able to describe that better I'm sure

Obesity is a sign of illness or being unhealthy as no normal, healthy animal would be overweight When I am home I will dig up a scientific study that connected seeing people who are overweight/obese with reactions similar to seeing people who are diseased. Its a negative reaction that leads to finding those afflicted as sexually undesirable
