YouTube. Start off learning something basic, like a really basic "Dougie". You can search "how to dougie", the best beginner tutorials I've found have been from the Mahalo dance series with a black male instructor. Watch a whole bunch of different dougie videos to see different styles once you get the basic "bounce" down to get ideas of how you can stylize it more. Then lookup other dance move tutorials (cat daddy, jerking (need your swag on for this), cocoa butter, bernie, etc. Stay away from t…

I'm not sure where your confusion is, seduction is a skill like any other and the more you practice the better you'll be. If you're too busy to go out 4 nights a week, then you'er not going to get as good as fast as someone who does. You wouldn't have asked Larry Bird if it was he thought it was excessive for him to practice basketball everyday. Your skill level is going to directly correlate with how much effort you put in.

It's not about "getting drunk", it's about creating a level of comfort with the girl. If you're pushing "let's get drinks", she might think you want her drunk so she makes bad decisions. IMO it's better to start somewhere else, like a quick visit to a coffee place, then bounce to drinks shortly afterwards. You should have built up enough rapport at that point where she's much trusting and doesn't think you have ulterior motives. Also, just about everyone preaches multiple locations for your date…

Cajun did a body language DVD with LoveSystems and it touches on this topic. It sounds like (according to Cajun) the OP handled it more-or-less correctly by staying calm and being non-reactive. Maybe it would have been more correct to not walk away after the initial confrontation of "she has a boyfriend", and just hold eye contact with the guy calmly. Paraphrasing the reasoning behind it- By staying calm, the aggressor is going to be freaking out in his own mind wondering why you don't appear ne…

The solution is to not list your salary at all. Assuming you're actually looking for dating, why would you want to waste time with someone who's going to factor how much or how little money you make into their decision of meeting you?

kind of the ratio most girls see at a bar, a 2:1 ratio of guys to girls Where are these bars? That's a pretty big improvement over what I'm seeing nowadays.

I did a similar move, but moved in with 2 random guys I met on reddit. That definitely made it easier to invade their social circle and always have people to hang out with, but I'm guessing that's out of the question now for you.

I wouldn't use this because IMO it translates to "I'm worried that you aren't attracted to me and you won't show up, please reassure me that this isn't the case".

IMO #3 is a terrible idea. A group date for a first date? Not a good way to build attraction. If you're worried about first date anxiety I'd recommend signing up for OKCupid and running through some dates on there. It definitely made me more comfortable for first dates, especially if you can schedule them to come to your area where you can guide them around places you already know.

Just be a good sport and let yourself get scared silly, she'll find it adorable. I think you're worried about this too much. Eventually you'll enjoy watching them. That being said, stay the fuck away from the Paranormal Activity series. I think it's easily the most tension-driven series out there, the suspense is RIDICULOUS.

Can you describe your anxiety? Is it purely mental, or do you get the physical effects as well (shaky voice, trembling, etc.)? I had issues with physical side effects when giving presentations for school (and to a lesser extent at some social gatherings), I saw a psychiatrist (or something like that, I think it was a psychiatric nurse who can prescribe in my state) and they gave me some beta blockers (Propranolol) to use which worked great. I know this seems like a short term fix and a crutch, b…

You don't need to read "The Game" to know what we're talking about, but it's a pretty good intro to the seduction community. It basically follows one guys journey to discovering and infiltrating the seduction community, so you'll find a lot of it helpful. You can find the book on Amazon or through torrents, Google, etc. Some acronyms you were probably confused with in this post- AFC - Average Frustrated Chumps (guys who don't have any game, sometimes synonymous with "beta males" or "betas") RSD …

I agree that's the ideal, but that's why I listed this as beginner advice. When starting out it can be intimidating to open everyone, so I offer this as a stepping stone until you get to that point.

Well you definitely want them to know you're interested in them as more than a friend as soon as possible in the interaction so they know your intentions. Otherwise you could just be wasting your time. Generic small talk isn't really going to build much attraction, but you're probably at a similar stage as me where you fall into a funk of being too friendly with a girl and don't break into sexual mode nearly fast enough and kill your chances. I think most of this is from being new to the game an…

Where in central PA, State College mayhaps? Honestly, a tattoo on your neck sounds like a bad idea. In terms of seduction and life decisions. I don't have any experience with tattoos or know of any PUA's who are prolifically tattoo'd, but my general feeling is it likely won't help you.

I'm not sure what the reason for that would be, especially if you're rolling solo. I find it gets me in a social mood and gives me more motivation to approach girls, maybe because my ego wants me to look bad ass in front of this random stranger.

I would suggest the next time you get the chance to text yourself from a girls phone, go with something like "Wow, you're really sexy". Something sexual will make it easier to keep you out of the friend-zone. But that's just nitpicking on a successful night out, good job.

This is a tough subject in terms of what to do on the floor. If she's making eye contact with you, take that was the #1 IOI on the dance floor, even above grinding her ass into you IMO. If you know you're not a good dancer, I would do what jgrow said below and confess "That's all I got" or something similar, she'll probably laugh and maybe start grinding on you which takes all the work out of it for you. Just try to gyrate your hips with hers while keeping pressure between you two. If you hoverc…

I love the "that's all I got" confession, any guy with a weak dance game should use that.

I like "dancegame" because it's fun as shit. It's hard to teach specifics through this subreddit though other than go out, have fun, be confident and act like you don't give a shit. One warning I would give out is don't be the guy creeping around the dance floor looking for any lady to grind on him. If you're dancing, just look to have fun and approach girls from the front. If they're giving you good vibes then reach for their hand, spin them around and try to dance closer. Escalate from there.

This is a good response. I remember in a recent interview with Meryl Streep (it was on 60 Minutes or something within the past year) she was asked about her male co-stars throughout her whole acting career and she said (this is rough paraphrasing) that Clint was the most alpha of anyone she worked with. Other men feared/respected him because of the things he didn't do. He never made unnecessary movements or reactions. I imagine that would mindfuck people pretty hard.

Great FR. How much of a factor do you think alcohol is to your night game? I've been moving towards getting less and less fucked up when I go out so I can stop using alcohol as a crutch (and save myself a ton of money), but I think it's an OK tool until you gain some more confidence.

Same concepts but different execution. There's less sexual energy flowing in a bookstore than in a bar/club, so I think it's easier to overstep the comfort zone to negative effects with day game if you try to push the sexual envelope. I think it takes more balls to do a direct approach during the day than at night due to social norms and lack of liquid courage, but I think many openers can work night or day.

I think the weird thing is you spent 2 hours talking to her and couldn't kino. As long as you had fun then fuck it, but if you were looking for more (it sounds like your goal wasn't really to get laid which is fine) then you should have got her number earlier and move to another set.

You did pretty good, I probably wouldn't have done this approach because I wouldn't want to deal with the awkward fallout every time you go to the gym. Your text message to her was clever, even if she doesn't respond that was a great text.
/r/seduction08/10/12 06:44 PM

Meh, it's not so bad. I think you should still be friends with her but why are you giving her your full attention throughout the night (i.e. she's your prime target) when you know she's taken and aren't going to pull the trigger on it? I would cut her off in terms of more-than-friends affection and if she asks why just tell her you don't feel comfortable about it since she has a boyfriend. Maybe in the future she'll split up with him then you can pursue her.

I don't feel like any of the comments so far have come close to addressing the issue you're talking about. He not looking for some bullshit "don't give a fuck" pep talk. I thought about doing NoFap, headed over to the sub to check it out, and found out that most guys have a wet dream after 30 days. If your body decides to bust a nut on its own, I don't think there's any concrete benefit in holding out. It's all just placebo after a certain point.

Your first date ever, you met online, and you have 24 hours to prepare. If we're being honest, odds are this is going to end in "failure", in terms of not growing into a successful relationship. I would accept that possibility as soon as possible and look at this as a great learning opportunity and step forward in life towards meeting women. Why didn't you switch your focus to the porn stars once you had them back at your place? Ok, I get you're excited and everything but this is a pretty bad FR and there's nothing useful in it. At best you could say "act with confidence", and you took 5 paragraphs to say it. You mention keywords like negs, DHV, escalating kino, etc. but you don't mention a single instance of what you did to actually utilize these techniques. That's the only important part of an FR, no one gives a shit about how you came into seduction or that you had sex or who you want to thank for it. TL;DR - Stop up…

I think you're right, I was being a bit try-hard with her and she was definitely gaming me as much as I was gaming her. I also tend to get one-itis real easy, this quote from Catcher in the Rye sums me up pretty well- That's the thing about girls. Every time they do something pretty, even if they're not much to look at, or even if they're sort of stupid, you fall half in love with them, and then you never know where the hell you are. Girls. No problem, it was great to put theory into practice. I think it's important to realize that reading the theory related stuff on her is actually useful even if you haven't had a chance to use it yet. Well, for the hip touches - this actually was inspired by a few different events. The first was noticing your surroundings. While I was talking to her a belligerently drunk kid was walking around, being loud, looking foolish. This is helpful to the OP, just be a famous actor or musician and height won't be an issue... Let's not pretend that height isn't a factor. It's been studied and women do prefer men taller than themselves, especially in casual hook-ups. Here's one example from the front page of Google, I'm sure you could find more if you cared. You didn't give enough detail to show how it exactly went down, but you need to turn the tables on them and put them on the defensive to begin with. You're just describing social anxiety from doing something new. The faster you man up and just do it, the faster you'll see results. Wow, let's take a look at what you're saying here... The problem is that all we want from you is sex, so once you give it to us we feel like we've conquered you and want to move on to the next one. Do you really think this is the only possibility stemming from this interaction? Do you really think that's all every man in the world wants? Make sure she's into you and you're not the one doing all the work in the relationship. You're young enough now as an 18 year old that soon enough you'll find that you guys either work as a couple or don't, and the knowledge you gain will be extremely valuable for future relationships knowing what you want or don't want in a partner. I don't feel that it's that big of a deal to spend some time dating one girl, as long as she's 100% into you and doesn't ruin any other aspects of your life.
