When men take care of themselves a little too well, I get suspicious that they’re gay or a manwhore.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/24 04:01 PM

Guys say women need to start settling or they’ll be alone, then get mad and accuse you of settling when you find a guy attractive who isn’t stereotypical Chad.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/24 04:20 PM

I’ve observed that gym bros are insufferable and I’d rather be with a normal dude. Some extra weight is okay on a guy. Sometimes it’s really hot.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/24 10:32 PM

I don’t think I could ever date a man who goes to the gym. I’m a big fan of that dad strength, though. Like dudes who look normal but are incredibly strong. That’s super hot.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/24 10:11 PM

I was walking through Home Depot a few days ago and saw so many hot contractors. Most of them were older than me, probably 38-50. They weren’t traditionally hot “Chads,” but they were just so damn attractive. The imperfections give people personality and a unique attractiveness. They look a bit more rugged and give the vibe that they know how to talk to women. One of them told me my baby is cute like me when I was waiting to check out.

Yes, I was kidding with the gold digging comment.

Husband is getting a nursing job at a plastic surgeon’s office soon. It’s four days a week during business hours, so much better than hospital shifts. Am I a gold digger for being excited about his pay increase?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 12:23 AM

I don’t understand guys who are so adamant about finding a virgin, not even just a girl with a low n-count. Are we not allowed to love? My husband has been my one and only partner and I’m thankful for that, but it’s crazy to think that one long-term partner is too much for some men. I would never hold a failed relationship against someone like that. Just because a girl loved someone else in the past doesn’t mean she won’t love you just as much.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/23 06:59 AM

And it’s your right to not want to date them and find them repulsive. But it shouldn’t be okay to publicly shame and disrespect a woman because of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/23 01:46 AM

It really makes me sad seeing men shame previously promiscuous women who turn to God and change themselves. God forgives, and although those men don’t need to date her or be with her, they should realize that she has been forgiven. She is not a bad person and should not be put down.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/23 10:26 PM

I had my baby ten days ago and I still can’t believe I had a girl. My husband was so sure it was going to be a boy. I highly recommend waiting until birth to find out the gender, it was such a good surprise. It also makes me wonder why it seems like everyone wasn’t to find out early nowadays.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/23 05:45 PM

No, but I could go into labor anytime.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/23 03:46 AM

I’m exactly 39 weeks pregnant now, and it’s so crazy to think that within 48 hours I could be holding my new baby. I’m starting to freak out a little bit.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/23 01:09 AM

I ate too many of those Aussie Bites from Costco and now my tummy hurts. They’re so fucking good though.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/23 08:48 PM

I’m due in about two months and my husband has already gone full dad mode. He’s rocking the white New Balance and khaki shorts combo, and bought a new GMC Canyon. He’s 22 years old and is already becoming a middle-aged man. It’s cute, though. He’s so excited for the baby to arrive.

Personally, I was more into the Kiwi heart surgeon who showed up after he died.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/23 05:27 PM

I do eat complex carbs when I’m doing low carb, I’m not ignorant to the different kinds of carbs. Throughout my pregnancy I’ve been eating carbs with a low glycemic index. I’m not one of those people who eats nothing but butter, cheese, and bacon. I try to eat a balanced diet of vegetables and meat, with nuts and occasional fruit.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/23 07:24 PM

Not to be dramatic but I think going low carb/keto saved my life. Sometimes it feels really restrictive and limiting, but eating so many carbs made me feel so shitty. I feel more awake and attentive now. The worst part about it is how difficult it can be to find things to eat in restaurants and how sugar is everywhere.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/23 07:08 PM

Yes, my queen Mia Goth and her hot Texan companion (who is really a Kiwi).
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/23 11:50 PM

Yeah, that’s probably true. I’m just silly like that, I like to have fun.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/23 11:23 PM

Just posted a fake AITAH based off of a movie, let’s see how long it takes for people to get mad at me and telling me it’s fake and not realize I’m joking.

Jobs where they have a skill and can actually make real things. Tech jobs may pay a lot, but at the end of the day you work on computers and that skill isn’t going to be useful when times get tough. Being able to weld, build a home, being a machinist, or provide medical care are much more important. A man who can make real things is very attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/23 12:57 AM

Complaining about the women’s World Cup is kind of gay. You’re complaining about watching pretty women play a sport? What is wrong with you?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/23 12:42 AM

Everyone thought I was crazy when before it even started, I said the US will not make it to the World Cup final. And then they choked and lost to my home nation of Sweden. It feels so good to be right.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 08:20 PM

What’s so funny?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 09:14 PM

I need Atlético to figure out what they’re doing with Félix soon. I need to know what team he’s going to so I can buy his new jersey. I just know I’m going to be stuck waiting until the last day of the transfer window. That’s if they can even get rid of him, they’re asking too much.

Are Red Lobster and Olive Garden really not good enough anymore? I get that they’re not fine dining or anything, but they’re good. I’ve been on several dates to those places and I was thrilled. I grew up thinking those were fancy restaurants, though. But it certainly makes going to them feel very special.

I don’t think stepfathers are humiliating themselves. They make a choice to be with a mother and they’re obviously okay with it. A man’s legacy isn’t just his children. A man could be a piece of shit and having kids won’t make people have a positive view on his legacy. Once you’re truly in love with someone, you stop caring about their flaws. You just want to be with them. That’s what happens to stepparents.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/23 11:02 PM

I haven’t said anything to her, but god some things she’s said just made me internally cringe.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/23 12:42 AM

My older sister thinks she’s so interesting and cultured because she’s going to Italy and the south of France on her honeymoon. It makes my brain hurt. There’s going to be a thousand other couples doing the same thing there.

Not so much. Life hasn’t gone the way I thought it would. You take risks, things happen, life gets in the way. I try to remind myself that it’s okay to not be on a schedule. It isn’t a race. My parents didn’t buy a house until they were forty, which is late for a lot of people. Instead of being mad they bought “late”, they looked at the good parts of buying later in life. I think young people like myself are too focused on doing things ahead of our peers. We think it will make us look better tha…

I’m white. My mom is from Sweden and my dad is American but his parents are Swedish.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/23 03:02 AM

White guys from any of those countries.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/23 02:47 AM

In my opinion, probably black.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/23 02:29 AM

Or white men from any hispanic country: Argentina, Mexico, and so on. I’m a fan of the Portuguese as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/23 02:29 AM

White hispanics are the hottest kind of man and you will never be able to change my mind.

I didn’t get my first boyfriend until I was 22, so I think that part of my brain matured differently than most people. I’m with a man some would call “Chad.” He has cried to me multiple times. I haven’t got the “ick”, and I haven’t left him after six months like men here said I would. He’s a person with emotions and I’m here to comfort him. He’s one of the greatest things that has ever happened to me. I love him so much. When I know he’s upset, I want to make him feel better. I guess I have a mu…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/23 03:39 PM

I don’t understand the hate towards a lot of single moms who want to date. You’re not being forced to go out with them. They’re people who want love too. You don’t know how or why their relationship ended. Just don’t insult them or belittle them.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/23 05:31 PM

Are people from Portugal and Spain white? My sister is oddly obsessed with saying my BF isn’t white because he’s from there and his skin is darker than most white people. He knows he’s white and I don’t know what else he’d be. Not all white people look the same.

I think I’ll be more attractive at 30 than I was at 21. I was chubby and an absolute mess then. I’ll be hot when I’m 30.

Like, halfway in-between? They’re shorter than the long ones but not tight, they’re pretty loose.

I go to the gym but I don’t know if I’d describe myself as a “gym girl”. My boyfriend says it’s very attractive that I always wear modest clothing to the gym, usually a t-shirt and soccer shorts. I just don’t think I’d be comfortable in any tight clothing and I’ve never worn leggings. I don’t have a superiority complex because I go to the gym. It’s something I do because it’s fun and keeps me in shape.

Missionary. It’s easier to kiss, I get to look into his eyes and see his face. I feel like I’m one with him, very connected that way. It doesn’t stimulate me the most down there, but he still makes me finish, it’s just not as intense as another position. Cowgirl probably feels the best down there. I haven’t been able to do much missionary since I’m pregnant and my tummy is getting bigger. I want to get back to it :(

I’m a woman and I got cockblocked by other women so often. I live near a large university and I used to go to places the students hang around in an attempt to make friends. There were a few mixed-gender friend groups I tried to befriend. The guys were typically cool with me, but the girls were hostile. I thought it was weird they were so cold when they weren’t even dating the guys. I eventually lost interest because of the girls. It’s so weird to think about.

I still have my first car and it had four owners before me. I love it to death and it has never left me stranded. I don’t think about what the previous owners did to it because it’s a dependable truck that I’ve had loads of fun in. It’s always been mine and I’ll probably keep it until it dies.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/23 06:11 PM

I hope João Félix comes to the MLS to play since he’s done with Atlético Madrid. He’s hot and I want to watch him play in-person.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 05:55 PM

If I were picked, would I at least get to pick the men I have to reproduce with? Do I get to live in a nice house? Can I have hobbies to pass the time while pregnant? If I got to live a cushy life, I’d have no problem with it.

I think you can approve of age gap relationships but also acknowledge that partners can be in different parts of their lives. I’m 24 and if I were with a man who is 40 there could be some conflict. He may want children and I may want to work a few more years and save up. The relationships can still work, but it could take more effort than conventional relationships.

I’m thinking about a career change soon. I like running my business but I’m thinking about shutting down. It’s hard for me to admit failure. I couldn’t get into college so I don’t know what I’ll do. I feel like such a failure. I’m 24 and other people my age are making six figures out of college, and I’ll have nothing. I’d like to be a nurse but I know I’d never get into school. I’m so lost.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/23 04:27 AM

Why are women grossed out by men crying? I’ve comforted my boyfriend while he was crying many times and it has never bothered me. It makes me feel better knowing he trusts me like that. I like being there for him and wiping his tears and calming him down.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/23 01:56 PM

I’ve told myself for years that I’ll get a tattoo once I’ve gotten into shape and kept the weight off. I refused to be a fatty with tats, there’s nothing worse. But now I’m pregnant so I’ve got to wait even longer. Maybe that’s not a bad thing, it’s more time to think about what I want.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/23 03:10 AM

It would be a lot of traveling and he wouldn’t be making a lot of money. I don’t think he wants to be away from the baby at all. They’re only little once and he doesn’t want to miss it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/23 01:18 PM

He’s 21 and I’m 24.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/23 01:13 PM

No, I encouraged him to go but ultimately it was his choice.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/23 01:12 PM

My boyfriend just turned down a spot on a semi-pro soccer team. The league they’re in is really a feeder league to professional teams. He’s pretty upset and he’s trying to act like he’s okay. I’m pregnant and I know that’s why he turned them down but he’s acting like it has nothing to do with his decision. I was cuddling him earlier, and he liked it for a while, but he seemed to want to be left alone. I know he’s excited for the baby but I’m sure this feels like the ultimate failure for him. I h…

I was a fat kid. The first time I got complimented by a man was when I was 21. I went on my first ever date with that man. While everyone was spending their first adult years out having fun, I was looked down upon and talked down to by everyone. I remember working at Dairy Queen during the summer and serving all of my peers out having fun in the evenings. I didn’t have anyone to hangout with, so I worked to keep busy. I know why I didn’t have many friends, I didn’t have the look they wanted. I’m…

Wearing an oversized t-shirt makes me feel like a female CBum. Even though I’m not that muscular. It just improves my mood. It’s truly revolutionary.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/23 01:00 AM

Nissan Frontier. I have a baby on the way and needed something a little bit bigger. I wanted a Tacoma but they weren’t giving me the price I wanted, so I chose something else.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/23 01:59 PM

Today I bought a new truck and was able to get it for about $4K under MSRP. The salespeople were really surprised to see someone my age (24) actually negotiate and fight them on the price. Are people my age really that avoidant of confrontation? They won’t even negotiate? My dad always told me to never pay MSRP, always lower.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/23 04:45 AM

I may start wearing the bonnet other places, I just think it’s so cute. I’m starting to care less about what other people think of me so wearing it would be a good way to get out of my comfort zone.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/23 03:29 AM

Yeah, it makes me sad to see a man treat his wife like that. I was a fan of his but now I can’t watch any of his stuff anymore. Once Dave Landau left I lost a lot of interest anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/23 03:16 AM

My boyfriend bought me an old-timey prairie bonnet and wanted me to wear it to church. It’s actually really cute with my church dress, but I got some funny looks when we went to breakfast afterwards.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/23 03:14 AM

“Be yourself” is unironically some of the best dating advice out there. Apart from a few things like getting into shape or practicing basic social skills, don’t change fundamental parts of yourself to please another person. If someone doesn’t like me or like my interests, I don’t want to spend time with them and I’m not going to spend any energy trying to win them over. I want to interact with people who want me from the beginning.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/23 01:55 PM

Aww that dress is so cute!
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/23 07:46 PM

What is a “bad boy”? Is it a guy who pushes the boundaries and does what he wants, or is he a genuinely awful person? I’m a little lost.

I seriously don’t understand why I can’t make many friends. I have a boyfriend, so I’m not some weirdo who absolutely no one likes. I’ve been told I’m very straightforward so maybe that’s the problem. Maybe it’s because I don’t really care about what other people think of me. Maybe it’s because I’m not a part of something, like in college or a sports team. I really don’t understand.

I had been overweight since I was little, so it sort of was news to me when I was treated well after losing weight.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/23 01:18 AM

As much as being overweight sucked, I’m glad I was because I have a much different perspective being thin now. I appreciate it much more and I’m treated better. I know now a lot of men are only nice to me because I’m attractive now and I used to be ignored.

I’m never letting myself go back to that. I spent my entire childhood and adolescence that way and I can’t do it again. I’ve kept it off for six years.

Is slight loose skin on the stomach a dealbreaker for men? I was always a fat kid growing up and I lost seventy pounds during my senior year of high school. I don’t have loose skin hanging down but the skin there will never be super tight and toned. It makes me really insecure, especially with bikini season coming. Is it a dealbreaker or a turn off?
