My mother started a big fight about how my father and I don't do our own dishes. A few months later, she started a big fight about how my father and I were selfish for doing our own dishes, and we'd do hers too if we loved her.

A few weeks back, I mentioned a friend of mine who admitted to her husband that she had no sexual interest in him at all after they married. The relationship made no sense to me because he's unemployed and fat, and has no drive to do anything but drink and play video games. She never admitted it directly, but I recently discovered she has a huge cuckolding fetish. He's just a device for her to make sex with other people fun. He's allowed to fuck outside the relationship too, but I don't think he…

A friend told me about her marriage. I stay friends with her because her husband lives in a perpetual nightmare so bad that it terrifies me into bettering my life. She married him even though she feels no sexual attraction to him, but she thought it would get better after the wedding. She doesn't wear her ring. She doesn't call him "husband." She negotiated for a one time freebie bang before the wedding, and then extorted it into a polyamorous relationship where she goes to her husband for borin…

Go to events. Find whatever local newspapers are available and find stuff you want to visit: restaurants, sights, etc. Explore the city and find your favorite spots. Music open mics puts you in contact with musicians, and they know where to score party favors. Find centers for whatever hobbies you enjoy and make friends through activities. Some bars sponsor sports leagues where you play games, and the after party is at the bar with discounts given to the players.

DiCaprio, who exploded at 23 (although he did a shitload of TV early) De Niro, Nicholson and Crowe, who were in some terrrrrible movies to start out with, and finally started getting good (or just get breaks) at 32-33 According to Wikipedia, De Niro started in his 20s, while Di Caprio started as a kid. De Niro got big in his 30's, because he started in his 20's. Di Caprio got big in his 20's, because he started in his 10's. All of this relates to my own personal research in guiding what I need t…

Two ways come to mind. It could be that the couple have been together for a very long time. Maybe the girl wasn't as attractive back then and outgrew the guy she's currently with, and then it comes down to the sunk cost fallacy since they've been together for so long already. Maybe she believes the guy still has potential, and likes the emotions from encouraging him, getting disappointed, etc. It could also be that she needs to fortify her own self esteem by having someone to take care of. I've …

Personal preference. They don't do it for me, but some guys like them. "Should I get implants?" is a shit test. It means, "I'm feeling self conscious about my body and genetics. Cheer me up." A girl brought up wanting implants during a dinner a long time ago, and the table turned into a compliment fest for natural bodies, and how she's fine the way she is. Agree and amplify - You should get implants so big you can't leave the house. We can sell the bed to make money for them, and I'll sleep on t…

Keep an eye on deal a day websites like Shark Stores or Woot for cheap jewelry and gifts. Stockpile a few, pre-wrapped without a card. Make a little spreadsheet with a picture of the gift and how it's wrapped. Forget a birthday or anniversary? Gift on hand. Giving you shit about something? I had a gift for you, but I'm returning it because of your behavior. You can also use them for bartering. I bought a handgun and established a nice rapport with the older lady at the gunstore. Switching from regular Trojans to the ultra thin is what made me notice a huge difference. Part of it could be nerves too. There have been times where I don't orgasm because I'm too concerned with performing well, but it hasn't happened for a long time.

Do you know why this happens to you? I've had good results in explaining the issue to women I sleep with. Part of it is dick death grip during masturbation, so I stop masturbating when I have sex on tap. Part of it is getting used to the person sexually, so it's a good reason to get raunchier if sessions are going too long. I also have a preferred brand of condoms, because some brands seem to cause the problem.

There was a post I can't find that your description reminds me of. It's about being ______ but ______. It could be that his appeal to women is, "He looks like a meat head gym rat, but he's actually (really sensitive / a big teddy bear / kind and caring / etc.)" Another example would be, "He rides a motorcycle and looks like a bad boy, but he actually does a lot of charity work," or "He looks like an office drone, but underneath he's ripped and has tattoos." He is disarming and interesting by sub…

Go on Netflix and watch female comedians. Pay attention to the subjects they bring up, how they bring it up and how they revisit subjects they talk about. The two comedians that come to mind are Anjelah Johnson and Chelsea Peretti. Anjelah has some insightful bits on how different races of men hit on her, and another bit about a really suave man that I won't ruin. The Chelsea Peretti special is more dense and nuanced. She brings up being envious of men's confidence, and then shits all over them …

I've been at it for half a year now. Hit the gym after the girl I was seeing left when I told her I was ill. Doctors told me it was terminal in a few years if I didn't start treatment. I dumped the second girlfriend after she flipped the fuck out over it. Tried online dating again and got a lot of responses and interest, but shut it down after two no-call-no-shows. I work seven days a week trying to clear the debt that built up from medical bills. I don't have any time to waste, so it's either b…

I had a different read of the situation. I've had a few girls do the, "I don't believe you're into me," or maybe it's a self esteem thing where they reassure themselves by directing me to other women just to see if I'll stay with her. Sometimes I'd ignore it and continue whatever topic I had or change the subject. Here's a fun one for next time. She says, "What do you think about her?" and you say, "You two would make a great couple. Let me teach you how to pick her up," and then you use the gir…

It's also part being a natural. A guy who is "naturally" muscular? Heartthrob. Guy who spends a lot of time in the gym and balances his diet? Vain tryhard gymrat. They need to assume you've achieved fitness through no effort at all. I assume women who go to the gym regularly respond much better when the curtain is peeled back.

what happens if she keeps pushing you for information? My one anecdote about that is they may yell at you for not being truthful and throw a tantrum. I told her I was a professional artist, which segued into, "It's just a front for being a jewel thief." I was being a dick about it, but I suspected she was looking for an allowance. I asked her why it was important. She reiterated, "Just tell me what you do," a third or fourth time. I walked away. We still talk once in a while. It doesn't make it …

Mine maintains a fantasy-like positivity despite everything I've been through. A few weeks ago, I was with a girl who was standoffish and all of her stories involved complaining about something. My mind entertained a scenario where I broke through her hard exterior and found a much sweeter person inside. I doubt that person exists within her, or at least it doesn't exist for me. The truth is if she complains about everything, she's going to complain about me all the time too. I've embraced the i…

I went to a party on Saturday night and made some business connections and new friends. A young couple paid for my dinner at the end of the night and told me I was the most interesting person they've ever met. I talked to the guy sitting next to me at the bar on Sunday night. We enjoyed talking to each other so much that I wish I hadn't invited a girl to join me. I went through the same routine and stories I did on Saturday, but she seemed standoffish the whole time. I told a girlfriend that my dad died. It was the only thing I said about it, "My dad died," with a blank expression. That was the last time she talked to me. More recent examples: I was diagnosed with a life threatening disease earlier this year. I presented it to my girlfriend as This is what the doctor told me. This is how my life is changing. We had a tender moment together. A few weeks later, she claimed to be really busy and then stopped talking to me all together. I let a joke slip about i…

I had no reason to believe she was unfaithful based on how she described her trip. We quickly got back to where we left off. It was very passionate. It lasted a month after that. I stopped drinking and got a job out of it. The owner of the bar I go to needed an extra bouncer. The place is relaxed. I basically get money for standing outside of a bar and talking to people. Coffee is a good substitute. I found a place I like going to and have made a few new friends. No new partners through it, but the social circle is always expanding.

I had to stop drinking for health reasons. I liked the person I was when drinking, so I've been trying to cultivate the positive aspects of inebriation within myself, like having outgoing energy and being talkative. People will think you're drunk or on drugs anyway if you're outgoing or entertaining enough. Designated driving can score you some free food from friends. Drunk people are generous too, so you might be able to charm some strangers for free food. I explained my health concerns to a gr…

People will think you're drunk or on drugs anyway if you perform well enough. I quit drinking a year ago and have been working on being more outgoing and talkative while sober. It's tough, but you've got to put the effort in. The biggest hurdle I've faced is the disparity in sobriety between me and someone I'm talking to at a bar or party. People are weary of someone sober hitting on someone drunk, whether it's onlookers or the person you're talking to. You may hear lines like "Do you always pic…

Anecdote: friends and I were playing cards. A friend's sister showed up and sat on the beer cooler. We focused on the card game. I would look up and say, "____, hand me a beer, please," and she'd do exactly that. I said this to her three or four times and nothing else. After the game finished, she walked over to me, grabbed my arm and asked me questions about myself with a big smile on her face.

I'm involved in the local EDM scene and go to clubs all the time. Here's the secret - wear ear plugs, pick a corner, stand and watch the DJ. Get a pair of ear plugs with a wire joining both sides and people assume it hooks into a radio feed. If you have presence, people assume you're either a producer, a DJ, or a bouncer. I've been asked if I'm any of those. I've had club staff ask me if I'm ready to go on stage next. I'm just a guy who wants to listen to some music. You set yourself apart from …

Find a nice barbershop. It helps if the guys look like they've been to prison. I know three in my area that are great places to be, one of which I've seen the staff tell walk ins that they don't cut women or children's hair. I think too deep too. My mind picks through little details and tries to predict how the future will turn out. Part of it is developing plans to use as a "just in case," and part of it is thinking of worst case scenarios, because any situation will end up better than the worst I can think of. It's all effortless, so I have difficulty getting my mind to stop sometimes. That's the boat I'm in now. I've already assumed she's going to bang someone overseas, because why wouldn't she? My friends are optimistic for me, but they think I'm just too paranoid. I've got anxiety over how things are going to play out between me and her once she gets back. I'm better off than the guy in the original story though. I've kicked myself a few times for getting too drunk and giving a big speech about the intricacies of playing Warhammer 40k to a random woman at the bar. But you know what? Both times it happened, the woman was interested in what I had to say and kept asking questions about the game. She could have walked away at any point or made fun of me for having a 'nerdy' hobby, but she didn't. The real concern is too drunk to care means too drunk to convert.

How is 'kindness' defined? Have you ever heard the saying, 'Ruthlessness is the kindness of the wise?' Dread game can be considered ruthlessness in your example. If it helps foster a positive relationship between you and your partner because the partner improves themselves in hopes of maintaining a positive relationship with you, couldn't that be considered 'kindness?' The net gain, in a vacuum, is positive even if it was reached in a way that could be considered negative. Another example from C…
