Most young people aren't promiscuous. But if you are promiscuous, then most of the people you have sex with are also all promiscuous. There's a core of about 20% of each gender that hooks up with each other, and the other 80% rarely participate, if at all.

It's more than "very few" though. A majority of women don't like casual sex, sure, but no one is forcing them to participate. Women who want to participate simply have the option now.

LET THE LIE GO! All western young women are not sluts, most people aren’t promiscuous! Exactly. An N-count of 10+ in your mid-20s or 20+ in your early 30s is quite a bit more promiscuous than average. There's about as many 25 year olds with an n-count of 0-1 as there are with n-counts of 10+ Part of the reason why redpillers assume every woman is a slut is because just on the basis of simple math, casual sex partners are more likely than average to be promiscuous!

Citaton needed on that one. Women were never denied the choice to demand commitment. No one has ever said that sexual liberation is better for everyone. It's just that a lot of people grew up repressed, and it's a good idea to let people know that "just sex" is an option

I was confused because your comment implies most men are "below average looking", which was never a point I was trying to make/include. My point is that a minority of men (say the bottom third) gain zero benefit from "game", and those men came to dominate the conversation among the "red pill"
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/20 12:16 AM

Why do you assume that women want commitment over sex? Not all women do - how many soyboys have a girlfriend who insists on being "poly" or "opening up the relationship"? The reason that sexual liberation was "empowering" is because women could chose if they wanted to just have sex instead of being forced into commitment or shamed otherwise.

"Below average" in this case means "below the 50th percentile", so most men aren't below average by definition.

"Below average looking" was being a bit kind. We're talking about your classic "omega" males - extremely spergy, refuse to party, very fat/ugly, etc. The point is that the original "red pill" simply can't work for some men, and it was never meant to. Edit: Some men's best chance in life is to be "billy beta bux", and when those guys came to dominate the "red pill" starter to morph into the "black pill"

Women's preference for older men is stronger than men's preference for older women imo, at least among younger adults. That's a big reason why current 18-21 year old men struggle in dating - the girls their age that they want to date prefer guys who are 22-25 (or sometimes even older). The slightly older guys go after the yonnger girls because they're easy (and 22-25 year old women are dating 25-30 year olds). Until about 10-15 years ago, 19 year old guys could just date 16 year olds, but that's…

It's because the "red pill" was quickly taken over by absolute no-hope losers instead of the original target audience of "average frustrated chumps". If you're a below average looking man, "game" isn't going to do much.

Those Wikipedia stats show that there's more marriages where the husband is 6+ years older than there are marriages where the wife is any years older. When you take into account that most married people met their spouse when they were 16-24, that's even starker. Unless we’re being pedantic and thinking a man being 2 years older still counts are women liking older men. It does because a lot of people meet their spouse at an age where is 2-3 year age gap is "an older" man. Most women don't want to…

"Men age like wine" is actually more true than you think. The vast majority of wine, like the vast majority of men, has very little aging potential. It'll turn to vinegar or just taste like shit. Only the high quality stuff, and certain kinds at that, can be aged You have to be somewhat careful with how you age wine. Too hot, too much light, etc. can mess it up Even ageable wines have a limit. You can't age wine for 100 years and expect all but very rare exceptions to taste good

What does "amateur/revenge porn" have to do with "casually offering herself up to some stranger"? Revenge porn is when people leak private sex tapes without permission i.e. it's people in a relationship

Those are reported numbers. Multiply any number a woman gives you by 3 and divide any number a man gives you by 3 and you will be closer to the truth. That's simply not logical or true.

No matter where you go in the united states, cities are going to lean liberal and the country is going to lean conservative, no matter what state you are in. That's not true. Western Massachusetts and Vermont are two of the most liberal places in the US. There's also levels of "liberal vs conservative". Most of the reason that cities are "liberal" is simply because there's more people of color. Actual policy is a different story, and more nuanced. Also, urban/rural matters, but so does location.…

I changed my original post after some thought. https://ifstudies.org/blog/male-sexlessness-is-rising-but-not-for-the-reasons-incels-claim But even assuming the GSS data is correct, we can ask if another piece of the incel narrative is true. Do a few Chads and Stacies really monopolize the market for sex? Many incels quote a rule of thumb that 20% of men have 80% of the sex. Is this true? It turns out, the answer is no. And of course, it isn’t! Imagine how much sex those 20% of men would have to …

The average man has way less sex than the average women. Not really. The "average" as in "median" is roughly the same. Below average men have far less sex than below average women (basically zero vs. a bit more than zero). The most promiscuous men have more sex than the most promiscuous women. The mythical "80/20 rule" is really more like a 60/20 rule, and an 90/50 rule. If you're roughly right at average or a bit above average as a man, you have an "average" amount of sex. EDIT: Changed 85/50 t…

The whole point of a 1-10 scale is that people get their "looksmatch". If you can't get a "7" even when you try, you aren't a "7". Rejection has always been part of dating. Always. Any man who's successful with women has had hundreds of rejections. I know that "extremely intelligent and capable problem solver with an amazing career" is code for "programmer sperg", but he can still learn basic social skills and learn to be a man, which means facing rejection. If his career is truly "amazing" than…

I currently know a guy who is a 7 on looks, extremely intelligent and capable problem solver with an amazing career whose love life is comprised of rejections Every man's love life is comprised of rejections. What part of the redpill is applicable to lower class women but not upper? It's more about how they talk about the "sexual marketplace" Anything related to "single mothers" for one. Rich people don't have kids out of wedlock, and they don't get married then divorced before their late 30s (they actually rarely get divorced at all). Obesity is another one. UMC women, especially UMC white women, aren't fat. Status is another one. Look at how certain people will describe status or what "Chad" is lik…

Self-reported feelings aren't really valid because they're subject to cultural bias. People are just more meta/self-aware/perfectionist now. Less time spent with friends IRL has been replaced with time online, which is actually more socialization than before. The definition of "social" has changed, but people are more stressed than ever, not alone. If people were actually lonely, it wouldn't be hard to date!

It started as a protest and turned ugly. You literally said You don't see big rioting and protests in middle America The day after a big protest that turned into a big riot in middle America! Culture varies, but middle America isn't immune to the various gender issues or woke feminism of the coasts. There's radical feminists and woketards in small towns as well, the general norms are just more conservative.

Minneapolis is almost literally in the "middle" of America and there was a massive riot there less than 24 hours ago. Last time I checked, Ferguson Missouri was also in "middle America". There's political bullshit everywhere in the US. There's also plenty of "woke" people in the South and the Midwest. Just because the culture there is more conservative overall doesn't mean that they are completely removed from modern culture wars.

particular the 'thug' trope like if your in a non poverty ridden area how do you even know these 'thugs'?. There's a bit of a racial element as well which is pretty obvious to an American observer. "Thug" is so blatant it's barely even a dogwhistle. It's complicated because there's a lot of black guys who are "red-pill" or incel guys, but there's also a lot of white supremacist red-pill and incel guys (and the latter group likes to overemphasize perceived "black" dysfunction to push their agenda…

Yes, there is. The US is much less homogeneous throughout the country than the UK is. Basically the further you get away from the Northeast or (especially) the West Coast, the more "traditional" gender relations are. Also, the less urban locations are also more "traditional" (distance from the coasts and city size are about equal factors, maybe 60/40 in favor of distance from coasts). Class also plays a factor as well. People of all classes vary in sexual promiscuity. Certain aspects of PPD/TRP/…

Eh, I wouldn't say that "almost everyone" has used it. It's maybe a slight majority, and a majority of OLD users have never met anyone off of the app. Attraction is hugely a mental thing for women, and right off the bat, a lot of women are kinda ashamed or embarrassed to be using OLD, either because of the "stories" they hear about supposed harassment, or just because generically it feels too "forward".

You must be a chubby chaser, or simply into the corn-fed middle American look. Obesity rates alone make it so that there's far fewer hot women, proportionally, than in large cities. Ski towns are different because people who ski are wealthy and in-shape

You're biased because you were new in town. Everyone looks hot when you're new. I'm the opposite. I grew up in average America and moved to the coast. There are quite literally large portions of the country where there are almost zero "smoke shows". In NYC, there's one on every block. My point is that a lot of places not only have more, but they also have a higher concentration. Lifestyle tends to have a big effect on making people in a place like Tulsa just flat out not as attractive (again, pr…

There's basically zero "smoke shows" in Tulsa, and a fair amount in NYC. Maybe 30 years ago it was different, but brain drain and just a generally bad environment has decreased that number dramatically. For example there are way hotter women at UVA than Princeton on average, even though the population at Princeton is far wealthier That's because there's diminishing returns to wealth vs. hotness at a certain point.

I graduated college less than a decade ago. Not poorly socialized? That's even reached the mainstream media now. More and more people are lonely or completely alone, have no social circles, no friends, have depression or other mental health issues This is simply not true. The media creates narratives to get clicks. Most people are not that lonely. It's similar to how everyone is always "busy". It's just parroting back feelings that they heard on TV. Lots of "lonely" people have a skewed view of …

Your idea of a "smoke show" is very different than mine, or you have a very outdated data set. Brain drain and the effects of wealth inequality have hit ghettos, trailer parks, and rural areas of the US hard. Yes, there's smoke shows everywhere once in a while, but when 40+% of adults are obese, many of them since childhood, stress, pollution, and shitty diets are there, it vastly decreases how attractive people are. You don't have to be a billionaire to find hot women, but poor areas definitely…

How so? Women's lives look easy to men because women can get things men want - like casual sex - easily. Women don't want those things as much as men do. They want other things out of life that aren't as easy.

Truth is, there are staggering numbers of really hot women in the world, and they’re pretty widely distribute They're widely distributed in various elite locations, yes. If you vacation in Zermatt or Park City or have an elite job in NYC or LA or are in a top-tier frat at Bama or USC, yeah, there's hot women everywhere. That's not really true on a societal level though. There's always been nerdy guys who didn't chase after women. They aren't any more common than they used to be. Pretty much all of the "sexlessness" epidemic can be described by obesity (kills libido), poor economic prospects, and a decline in religion. The last two are related to marriage - 20 or 30 years ago, a lot of people just got married at 21 because that's what you did. Now that fewer people go to Church, there's less pressure to get marr…

That actually doesn't surprise me very much. A lot of what people mean when they talk about "anti-male" bias in education (at least at the K-12 level) is really just a bias in schools towards process and collaboration rather than results and competition. your age groups biggest problems are lack of social skills, obesity and entitlement. That’s why you’re not fucking, you’re fat, spoiled and socially inept. Truth hurts. Other than obesity, which is a society-wide issue that effects middle-aged people more, it's a complete myth that young people are "entitled" or "socially stunted" The entire Boomer/Millennial parent/child relationship is like a mass example of the RaisedByNarcissists subreddit.

. Saying something specific about me and my profile is important Everybody "knows" that piece of wisdom now, so it doesn't work. Women get bored of hearing shit about their profiles just as much as they get bored of hearing "Hi". It's really just a crapshoot. It doesn't look that way to you because of a halo effect - of course the guy you respond to has a good message! The other ones must suck!

Did you not even read the source you demanded from me? There is no such thing as an "objective" study on something as fluid as a dating app. This is as close as we can get, and it's not nothing. Market research is pretty important because it's used to make economic decisions. The evidence is overwhelming that men outnumber women by a factor of at least 2 to 1, maybe more, definitely not much less.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/20 11:13 AM

The general point is that no matter how you slice it, men vastly outnumber women on dating apps. Vastly! Dating in an environment that's 70+% male is already a massive headache for men. Now take into account the fact that women are inherently distrustful of dating apps (they spread around anecdotes and urban legends about "creeps", so in their minds, that's what it is), and it's honestly a miracle that anyone gets laid at all from Tinder.

Women get attention simply for existing. That's just how the world works. The idea that "men don't approach anymore" is not true. Men put in bids, women chose.

And the "minor" issues part is what I'm disputing. Being a meek beta is always a losing idea. Telling a woman what you want or asking her what she expects is how losers act. So if truly well mannered real nice guys are rare on OLD, what do you think is holding them back? They aren't rare. Most guys in OLD are decent. The guys who are pushy or creepy are rare, but they stand out. The simple fact is that OLD is 70+% men. There's 2 or more men for every woman, and it's more like 4 or 5 men for every attractive woman. What you say really doesn't matter because it's just a numbers game. I did, and I'm disagreeing with you. If the answer was as simple as "communicate", people wouldn't need dating advice or have to discuss "sexual strategy". That's kinda the point - if you have to overtly communicate, it ruins the mood and kills any spark of attraction. Communicating openly makes you look naive or desperate, like you don't know the game.
