Anyone actually left the country?Oh, so you can see an exaggeration from the other side, but you are unable to recognize when you do it. Now I understand what type of a troll you are. | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/02/24 01:27 PM
Anyone actually left the country?I think I see where this went sideways. You have lost the concept of how big millions and billions really are. “10s of millions” is almost 10% of the population of the United States. Billions of dollars, owed to 10s of millions is crazy. You’re saying that almost 10% of the population is owed around $100,000 in back pay - per person. Your analysis is an emotional reaction which is antidotal, and you are trying to present it as if there are real numbers validating your feels. | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/01/24 11:09 PM
Anyone actually left the country?u/Gattsama nailed it perfectly. I am not moving now because I am the only person fighting for my children’s best interest. Once my youngest (from the marriage) is 18… I am packing up. They are welcome to come with if they want, but I am gone. Why support a system that automatically assumes that I am the villain? Why am I paying taxes, funding legal escrow accounts, enabling a system that is designed to “hold men accountable“ for their cheating, trashy ex wives’ actions? Most states have laws tha… | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/12/23 01:47 PM
Anyone actually left the country? There isn’t much more to tell. I researched different emerging economies, alphabets, ease of learning the language, cultural issues with foreigners, expat communities, social health care, and the cost of living. I evaluated my current pension amount, projected retirement, and the cost of “necessary luxuries.” I found that Pekanbaru, Medan, and Bogor Indonesia met my criteria best. | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/12/23 12:37 PM
Anyone actually left the country? This is what I do. I travel to Indonesia 6 times a year. I have everything planned out. I learned Indonesian and Melayu,, and I ensure to keep up on the changes in immigration law. I don’t hide my money from the courts or my ex, my attorney has been great at pointing out my ex wife’s lies and exaggerations on her legal forms. The courts HATE looking bad, and a lying mother is the quickest way to reverse CS orders. | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/11/23 08:53 AM
Anyone actually left the country? The Census is a voluntary interview. It is flawed because nothing has to be proven. My ex claims that I don’t pay CS, even though I have never missed a payment. I confronted her about it a few times and she says that she feels that I should pay a lot more money, that is why she says that to teachers, mutual friends, the kids, etc A lot of people are dishonest with surveys and interviews… for whatever reason. | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/11/23 08:47 AM
Anyone actually left the country? You don’t even have to renounce your citizenship. Go to Brazil, there are amazing places to live there. | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/11/23 08:41 AM
Anyone actually left the country? This is me too, in 2029 I will move to Sumatra Island in Indonesia. We travel there a lot already. I literally just got home from a trip a few hours ago. Last night I stayed at the Marriott in an executive suite for $65/night. The only downside is that I can’t own property, but there are ways in which I can rent land/house for 20 years, that is less than I pay for 6 months here. | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/11/23 08:38 AM
I got a woman pregnant while traveling in the United StatesThis is partially right. The American court system will want you to help raise the child... A lot of countries have child support treaties with America. You might still have to pay (a lot) to take care of your baby for the next 2 decades. Get a DNA test immediately. That's the first step. Then, if the baby is yours, get an attorney. Have them enforce what she is saying in writing. | /r/MensRights | 26/11/23 09:41 PM
Should I stop final agreement after wife’s windfall?Just ignore him. These behaviors are signs of Autism. He knows he is autistic, but doesn't realize that he is being an asshole. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/10/23 12:54 PM
