No, it's nothing personal from me that is causing it. I would consider myself to be fairly attractive. Here in London people are much more reserved and don't want to interact with strangers. Everyone is just trying to get on with their lives.

Yeah they'd think something like that, in London people keep to themselves a lot. Prolonged eye contact with a stranger would be a faux pas.

Just to make it worse the cost was in GBP so it was closer to $3000.

I typically just use they "Hey I thought you were pretty cute so I wanted to come and say hello" I hold eye contact and strong body language. That technique absolutely wouldn't work where I live. Just making eye contact with a stranger is considered being too bold in my city.

That's not a case of men being able to vote. That's a case of the wealthy being able to vote. In Britain, it was that way until 1918, when the vote was opened up to all men over 21 That isn't quite true. About 2 in 3 men in England and Wales could vote in elections after the Reform Act of 1884, many of whom were definitely not wealthy.
