if you don't like it on a physical emotional and mental level, there's a reason. trust intuition, listen to all 3 'brains'.

Maybe you just had shitty friends. It isn't until we face extreme difficulties and come out loving anyway that we meet the other people who do the same. Being crushed and becoming heartless just makes us make other people heartless, and meet heartless people. When we find genuine people we don't trust them. I went down that path for awhile, despite remaining loving at my core.

You do have to face your demons "alone", because no one can conquer them for you. They'd just come back that way. You are free from your emotions Dead inside* Anyway. Realise that a lot of problems are the ones that everyone has, and that no one wants to listen to bitching, unless they're as emotionally immature/needy. So, there are 2 solutions. This one seems rather fatalistic. The other one is be more genuine. Take the pain as a lesson to grow in the way you like. If you're genuine and loving …

I wonder if that's true. As for domestic violence, a guy below said 2nd.

True. I suppose I haven't been here long enough to keep in mind that this is a place of generalities for the general population

No, some of them are. I personally know a woman who can literally sense the emotional energy of people around her. The more emotionally connected they are, the easier it is, but stronger emotions also make it easy. People like them avoid low quality people because they can feel them out fairly quickly, sometimes instantly. But, sometimes it depends on what they are looking for too. David DeAngelo talks about an empathic woman he dated (somewhere in his On Being A Man audiobook), though I don't k…

Thanks. I was looking for something that wouldn't make me have to post "the world is a cold dead place for you here, isn't it?" as a comment thread

OP said "He bought her several michael kors purses id give her shit for when i see her wearing them around. Her response? "He'll get me anything i want im so spoiled" " so it could be that instead. But I'm willing to believe that you're right.

Oh god. I hear about Fight Club being used by people as an example to be made fun of, "the guy who watched Fight Club and it totally changed his worldview, man" type of thing. But it's perfect here.

Of course it can. Things seem to come in cycles. There'll be a tipping point where enough men want to improve the lives of others that the indoctrination will become useless. All it takes is for every man to have a single person they teach, unless some major suppression goes on.

Be nice and pass on the non-judgemental attitude. Did you mean pass on the judgemental attitude? Also, is the goal here to keep her slutty? I'm not sure how that's a good thing.

It's totally fake. From a google result for the name, a forum: " this is "his" first and only story. Also, the only references I can find on the Web regarding a "Michael Sonmore" relate to this story. There is no Facebook profile or anything like that. Most writers are huge attention-whores and are on FB. Nor do I see any college info or race info when I reverse the last name to "sonmore michael" (you can usually tell people's backgrounds by seeing where they graduated or what races they've run)…

Since when does the government listen to the constitution? If enough people complain about it (they won't) they can just amend it.

SERIOUSLY. Would have ditched the bitch before the choice of kids. EZ. I can't say I've ever had a similar situation but I'd like to think I wouldn't bend over and take it even if I hadn't read trp stuff.

I'm floored by that realization. Holy shit the concept of original sin is one of the most evil (or limiting, anyway) things humans have done to themselves.

I found the stages on the post to be similar to another post I've seen. "But it's worth pointing out that psychology's general "five stages" model of the grieving process applies to TRP. Denial: "Women aren't like that! They're people just like everyone else! Treat them all as individuals, and you're sure to find the right one!" Anger: "WTF! Bitches are all like this! They have no honour, no loyalty, and they don't really love anyone but themselves! Fucking cunts!" Bargaining: "If I work real ha…

I recall reading something about mugs with "male tears" on them being sold by a men's advocacy group. So that's an example.

"Compassion and love is the realm of man, we are the noble and romantic sex, and if men abandon such ideals they will cease to exist in this modern world." I don't know one way or the other about that part. I agree with everything else.

I feel that some TRP-type stuff is a bit much/your way is the right of it. (Or at least in the right direction. Ofc, personal opinion) The first PUA stuff I'd read was the Tao of Badass, the author of whom seems to advocate things that I find consistent with being a man and not also changing what I think are good things within me the way some TRP-related things seem to. [I also read The Way of the Superior Man, (I think? it was on a torrent list of David DeAngelo recommended books) and what I re…

At first when I read his reply to you I was mildly offended, but in a way he was just trying to make you look deep to see if where you were coming from was genuine, as he thought it was fake. Tone isn't present, so I don't see a reason not to take what he said neutrally/do not believe there is a reason to perceive it as a personal attack.

I'm guessing not well at all. The only reason I take it well is that I realise at a certain point that what I have is good and "better" is meaningless/invalid since it would be trading one set of issues for another.

*edit: A response has been given: http://www.reddit.com/r/fuckStephanie2014/comments/2hhbhl/fuck_op_and_stephanie/cksxklj * I have given it some thought, and am now of the revised opinion that this may all be an important example to some, and so I retract my initial stance that reposting this may be wrong. It seems to me to be amoral more than anything.

Thank you for posting this for those of us who are curious. If you did not post this someone would. However, in reposting this, you are not allowing what he did to pass. One cannot become better if no one can look past what they were to see who they are. We are all much a product of what we have experienced (especially children, who grow up to be informed by their childhood), and only love and understanding can break the cycle of violence perpetrated and glorified by "society"/media. I understan…

It shouldn't make you happy; that is reveling in the small bit of violence you do to that person by annoying them. It is the tiniest vote of support for a systemic retribution which is what caused the extremism of this sub. We all have to learn to let go of the instinct to respond to toxicity in a toxic way (which can be "at all" to those who are so far gone they become "trolls")
