I had 'plastic surgery' 2 years ago and it was the best decision I ever made. I was actually in a LTR at the time. I had huge dysmorphia about one of my facial features and I had a procedure called a sliding genioplasty to correct it. Now when I look in the mirror I admire that feature and my self confidence (and attention from women) have skyroketed. I sat on this for 3 years before I pulled the trigger. It has been a dramatic change in my life and I wouldn't write it off so quickly.
