Honestly I thought that statue was good. I mean, it didn't affirm any form of misandry, it was not something vulgar, the idea with the bull charging in front of it was in the style of (I imagine) affirming that women can be courageous and stand up for themselves... but then I've read that the bull is a metaphor for economic progress... bad move.

I don't know, I don't think we can say something like "yeah someone cut off your finger, but this other one got two fingers cut off, that's worse", like it's the same thing in terms of nature. If someone got their genitals mutilated for "cultural" reasons, I think it's unacceptable to go with an approach like "oh but x has it worse than y because z", all of them have been mutilated, all of these things shouldn't happen.

I've been cut at age 1 for phimosis that was way too tight, the alternatives weren't even tried. My doc cut the bare minimum, only enough to let the glans uncovered, the frenulum is still partly there. It didn't grow back at all, I'm pretty sure it can't grow back without these exercises they do in restoration subs.
