The thing w/ BPD, if I had to explain it, is that we feel emotions vastly stronger than an average person. We also tend to be more impulsive, bored easily, discouraged easily. As w/ many ppl who have BPD, I also have anxiety and depression. I don't think nor have not found good evidence that medication can fix any of those things. I'm a guy w/ BPD. I'd like to add a bit and be candid about it. First, a lot of the above is true, and some of it misses the mark. I think the one point to drive home though is that you are not going to have a positive relationship with someone who has not "recovered," from BPD and IME recovery is not at a very high success rate.
