Although I agree with you, a cop can ask for identification if he sees someone break a law and if she just complied she either would've been given a verbal warning most likely or WORST case scenario given a $20 ticket or something stupid like that. Like it's honestly not a big deal either way. It becomes a big deal when there's this whole charade and she starts arguing.
