Unless you are have a cool or physically active job that isn't known for paying well. I drive pedicabs, when I first started I was not in great physical condition. I wasn't fat though. What helped me with my depression is getting a fun job that I love. You may not have that option, but you could move somewhere and start over. Move out of state, start a business, meet new people. Don't tell them about what happened, or do if you want. Maybe you can just travel a little while. All Im saying is I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety and they didn't start to get better until I made myself feel more fulfilled.
