I guess it also depends on who you're having sex with in the first place as well. I assume there'd be a difference in risk between having sex with girls that only have sex with people they're dating vs. girls you can just pick up in 2 hours at a bar/club.

Sure, but even with trust there are always things that range from simply forgetting to the person you trusted maybe becoming crazy enough to stop taking the pill. Not all baby crazy people advertise themselves in the first date and they were not all born baby crazy either. In a similar vein to "Just find a trusting partner" you could always say "Just pull out" but we all know that doesn't quite work, so we developed other measures. It's good to have options! You can always find a trusting partne…

You are never mature. You never stop growing. You never stop learning. You never stop changing your mind. Your comment of "... as soon as I graduate college" makes me think you're pretty young, and we know that our brains aren't even fully developed yet until around 25 so even if you disagree with the "always growing" sentiment as a whole and think that as soon as you become an adult you are "set" on a path and will never change, you're not even there yet biologically.

Doesn't matter how long it lasts for, what happens is how it changes you, how it shifts your perspective, etc. You don't need the other person for that, they are just the vessel that allows you to see things differently. Just like love there might be other things as well that make you surprise yourself, like a near death experience, the death of a loved one, etc. It's not about the love itself, it's about who I was before vs. after it. But if it does go bad (the love ends) it's also about who yo…

I didn't have a great childhood either (I'm from one of those families that beat their children) and I'm currently in a spot in my life where I myself am not sure I could love a child and thus want no children. Hell, I thought I could never love anyone until it happened and I thought a lot of things about myself until I met that person and everything changed, so now I'm open to the possibility that maybe at some point in my life I'll have that capability. Because of that experience even though I…

And I'm sure there was a time when you were little when you thought "Ew, kissing girls? Icky!" but we all change. I'm not saying that you will, I'm only saying that you should keep an open mind to allow yourself to grow.

This is mostly the reason why I deny easy sex. At least I know a prostitute is tested (it's legal in my country) but someone that just offers themselves might not be and who knows how many people have hit that. It's never really worth the risk!

Exactly. If the genetics were reversed women wouldn't have to do those things because what can a man do against them (unless they have a weapon) anyways? Just like many men "retreat" and don't talk shit to big body-builder type men, most women fo the same towards even normal men.

Plucking your eyebrows hurts and men generally don't need to do it so they're not used to the pain and have little reason to endure it. That leads to a lot of men agreeing, feeling the pain, and deciding to stop, which is seen as them bring weak because they can't handle the pain. Technically there's some truth to it: Women generally tend to have higher pain thresholds than men, but it doesn't mean men are weak, that men literally can't handle the pain, etc.

Because unless you've previously agreed that you can do that it completely breaks trust. Not to mention that the general "I can do anything with anyone, no biggie" attitude would definitely make me think "Then why the fuck am I dealing with your shit and helping you get through the rough times, I'd rather be one of the people that's just there for the fuck because obviously I'm not getting anything special for my extra effort here" which would make me leave.

Sure, but it doesn't necessarily mean that they're better than me sexually. They might be there for every other thig they get from a relationship (companionship, care, etc.) but I still a better lay. The having sex with someone else when they could have with me though does have that aspect to it because they still like/love me but would rather have sex with someone else.

In a way yeah, but at the same time I'd think about how bad I must be in bed that my girlfriend was horny and fucked some dude rather than come home and fuck with me. IDK which hurts more, knowing I wasn't what she was looking for emotionally or not being good enough in bed.

Eehhh, debatable. Most of these instances are with 16 and 17 year olds which is very much a grey area. After all, someone can be 17 today but 18 in 2 weeks, but we all know that those 2 weeks don't suddenly make them a completely different, mature person. Remember: 18 is just a rough benchmark we've set to determine "you're now old enough" but doesn't necessarily represent reality all that well. Many people can and do have willing, intimate relationships before 18 and many people still remain vu…

I get the feeling he was stressed out and just blew up after the drunk girl was a little condescending towards him so he decided to be an asshole back. As far as belligerent drunks go (especially on Uber) she was extremely mild so IDK what caused him to get that riled up, some shit must have gone down in his personal life or something because this isn't something Uber drivers never deal with.

The conversation goes as follows (not going to quote cause I don't have time): Right girl: Hi Left girl: Don't cancel on us you already know our location Jesus Christ! Driver: Sorry I already cancelled it Left girl: Then figure it out because we're both pooling. Who did you cancel on, me or her? Driver: You. You guys going to the same place? Left girl: Yeah. The girl on the left requested an Uber. The Uber driver got to the location and waited for her. She and her friend did not make it in time and after a while of waiting the Uber driver cancelled the trip. Then it seems the girl on the right requested an Uber and they got the same driver again, however, upon seeing that the first girl (who he cancelled on) was also riding along he decided to cancel the second girl's trip after they had already gotten in the car (you can see when he cancels it at 0…

And pretty much any well connected person, such as a CEO of a big company could do the same to anyone regardless of whether they're in the same industry or not. If Trump wanted to have sex with an Macy's cashier and she said no, Trump probably knows Macy's CEO and can do the same: Call them up and tell them to fire X person working at X branch, then call up all his other friends and blacklist her. Does this means that highly connected people like that can't fuck anyone but other highly connected…

Yes, this story was all over the news. It's even bigger than Aziz Ansari's (hell, it was #1 on reddit yesterday) so for WaPo to report that it was overshadowed by Aziz's is just false. If anything, Aziz's story of being victimized by false allegations has been overshadowed by Dushku's story. Everyone I know knows about "The actress that was molested by the stunt director when she was 12 and almost got killed by him" but almost nobody seems to know about "the actor someone accused but didn't do a…

It's all about context. Sure maybe you're hitting on a girl and it gets to a point where you know you're going to go back to someone's place and you ask if you can do something you want to do. Fine. For 2 of them he invited them into his home "for drinks." Hints were dropped and were reciprocated. Then the request was dropped and was met with a "Yes" and then... ... ... Turns out it was a no all along? I don't remember what happened with the other instances exactly since it was a while ago but I…

I didn't agree with what happened to C.K. If you become famous enough does that mean you can't do things with "the plebs"? Just because you're high ranked in a company does that mean that you can't date/have sex with a much lower ranking employee? That is not to mention that one of C.K.'s accusers was practically at the same level as he was. Shia LaBeouf met his current fiancee in the set of her first movie while he was already a pretty big figure in Hollywood, he's also 7 years older. Is it not…

Yes, and also this: The irony of all this is that, while Ansari’s story went viral, another, more important one got lost in the news cycle. Actress Eliza Dushku, writing on her Facebook page, accused a then-36-year-old stunt coordinator of molesting her at the age of 12. That story didn't get lost in the news cycle, it's much bigger than Aziz Ansari's. This article is literal trash full of falsehoods. What we've got here is exactly what a lot of people warned about: The #MeToo movement getting s…

Every time I see a video like this I think "Are you that weak willed that a word or two make you absolutely lose it?" Pity is the right word for what I feel for people that think punching is the right reaction to what is essentially just an insult.

Assuming it was illegal it wouldn't be part of the case anyways. That's for criminal court, this is civil court. In this case it doesn't matter who she slept with or why he even broke off the engagement, only that it was broken off.

First of all that is not a common word. That is a scientific term and not used in common everyday language. It's not a scientific term, it's often used in tabloids and normal conversation. There's literally no other word in English to describe "joy from the misfortune of others" which is why it is always used when talking about that feeling. It sounds fancy not because it is scientific, rare, snobby, etc. but simply because it was borrowed from German. Hell, it literally translates to "damage/in…

Is schadenfreude part of your word of the day calendar or something?? Don't blame him for your lack of vocabulary, it's a pretty common word. Either way, misfortune doesn't mean the same thing as schadenfreude so if he were to use that instead the sentence would mean something completely different.

This sub seems to be becoming the PR version of /r/womenhate. Just look at this comment which at least 1 mod agrees with, apparently there's a specific PPDer mentality... Apparently people in this sub aren't standard men and women that recognize that some women use their femininity to get away with stuff and like to see it fail, no, we are supposed to be "PPDers," whatever that means.

Many crimes can be committed "by trick" of "under false pretenses." It is based on the fact that, if it were not by the intentional misleading by the perpetrator, the victim would not have done what they would have. For example, if you were a jeweler and someone came with a golden ring and asked you to apprise it and you told them it isn't worth much, knowing full well that it is work quite a lot, then you buy the ring at that lower price, you'd have committed the crime of "false pretense" becau…

The real question that needs to be answered is why you see this difference between men and women's career choice. Is it because of some biological reason? Is it due to socialization? Is it due to pressure from the type of career? That's where the real "fix" to this "problem" lies, not within whatever the people propose.

Judge Judy is a pretty shitty judge when it comes to actually being fair and upholding justice. Sure she was unruly but you shut that down a time or two and then if it doesn't stop you simply hold them in contempt of court, you don't just rule against them. Although we haven't seen the rest so maybe she was being that way throughout and was warned several times. Still, you don't just rule against someone for that.

That fence is chest-level, not barbed, electrified, or anything else; it's purely decorative. It's also a mom-and-pop hotel that has no security unlike something like Hilton. Anyone that wants to steal everything in there can do so easily (especially with a friend or two). That furniture is not cheap either, a full set (1 sofa, 2 chairs, and 1 table) goes for $1000-2000. You leave it out and anybody that knows that knows they stand to make over $5000. Depending on the neighborhood they might los…

You gotta take all those cushions inside during the night as they're not meant to be just left out. Ideally you'd take the actual chairs as well to avoid a them getting stolen. That's over 60 cushions and over 30 chairs, tables, etc. That means that every single night you have to carry over 100 pieces of furniture inside and every single day you have to take them back out. The bar under the gym I go to uses the same exact type of sofa that they sit in to eat in the video. It takes 1 guy about 20…
