Also, with female offspring, duplicating a single persons X chromosome and splicing it back in would be incredibly difficult. 0	Dangerous to whom exactly Firstly, we're getting much better at gene splicing. We are already at a stage where, with proper management, two females can have a child without too much issue afaik. But replicating a Y gene without a father is much harder, as you actually have to edit the gene rather than simply splicing it.
