I feel like humans always need an enemy, a thing to point to as the reason why things are bad. It’s easy to start dehumanizing an enemy. It’s a difficult skill for many people to self-reflect, and even when we do, it’s difficult to point that finger at ourselves. Other people have said other valid reasons too. But I think this is part of the underlying psychological reason. It’s safe for our brains to blame others for our problems, and it’s scary for our brains to challenge views we hold as abso…

Not too long ago, many mgtow subs were banned, we probably got some people wandering in as a result of that. That’s my theory at least.

How would you prefer someone to go about expressing their interest to you? I would gradually build to that level over the course of my interactions with a girl. “Treat others how you would like to be treated” can sound corny sometimes, but it’s honestly a good starting point

I hear what you're saying. Loneliness is honestly part of being human, just like death. While that may sound disappointing, it's all about how you frame it. I would argue that it's an opportunity to reflect and make changes. I would modify what you said: Some people can't cope choose unhealthy ways to cope with the realities of the modern world I think nearly everyone has a capability to cope well, we just learn unhealthy and sometimes destructive ways and have those ways get reinforced. You can…

What’s your thought process there?

I don’t think I really understand your question, but I’ll guess at what you mean. Sounds like in their case, self knowledge and self acceptance, but OP can elaborate.

It seems like you would rather pick a fight than look for ways to adjust an unhealthy mindset. We’ve all been hurt at one point or another. You can choose to let that hurt poison you, or you could choose to let that hurt be your fuel for change. You have to accept the responsibility and discomfort that comes with either choice.

Glad you’re here, bro, digitally and physically. Keep on being good to yourself

God, we'd lose our minds if we got upset over every single person's nasty behavior. We pull from our experiences, and like the other commenter said, we can sympathize with and explain certain behaviors, but that doesn't excuse them or make them any less harmful. You can only control your actions and reactions, not those of others. Start letting go of these time limits on things, because in reality, there's just so much more variation out there that no one fits into these categories you're talkin…

Don’t put words in my mouth. What makes them similar to you? Edit:words

I don’t think the two equivocate. What makes you think they do?

I think I’m pro-“love yourself first before getting involved in a relationship” over everything else. We tend to attract the energy we put out into the world

Certain subreddits (mgtow for instance) were shut down recently. I’ve noticed many masculinity related subreddits have been seeing more activity lately, so I think that may be part of the explanation

Society = cultural norms. These get passed down generation to generation. These inherited norms include men in positions of power and women rearing children. It’s our job do decide how to adapt to a changing world.

It’s not about who and who isn’t getting them. If the law corrals women into a role of subjugation, I’m sure many RP are silent and accepting of it.

“Fertility” and “purity” are things RP like, right?

“More Than Two: A Practical Guide to Ethical Polyamory” by Franklin Veaux and Eve Rickert I’m not polyamorous. You don’t have to be poly to enjoy this book. It does a good job of taking a critical look at how traditional relationships are structured and how important communication is in ANY relationship. Important ideas: “the relationship escalator” and “people as need-fulfillment machines”. Read the book if you wanna know more!

What you’re talking about is more accurately called a “red pill moment”. The term “red pill” also refers to the larger ideology surrounding it. Also, I think people find it difficult when you are generalizing things like “female behavior”. Start breaking that thinking; people have complex histories and contexts for why they are the way they are, and it’s really unfair to the individual to lump them into something so deterministic. I’m glad you’re here. Stick around

Reasonable boundaries, expectation management, self-acceptance, owning your narrative. When you step back and appreciate how far you’ve come, let that empower you to keep going. If your self-worth depends on love, lean into that. Focus on loving yourself first and foremost, you will begin to attract the energy you put out there.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
