I guess this guy is the exception. If you showed me where you read this I would be happy to read it.

Why is being in a nursing home a bad thing? What if he liked being there?

I've come to the conclusion that it is your goal to confuse me.

Why though?

Ah! This is more clear. Thanks for the explanation

I don't see what you mean. The sentence you have constructed doesn't seem to relate to what I have said. I am simply asking: Why do some MGTOW believe divorce should be more difficult?

You can lead the horse to the water but you have to make horseburgers yourself. Was your intention to answer my question, or to confuse me further?

This makes a lot of sense. I was treating this sub in the wrong way, like a community of people who are just chill about women and wanted to tell their own stories. Clearly it's meant to be a venting ground for angry people who have been fucked over. Got it. You've increased my understanding of the type of people on this sub. Thanks

I don't understand why you'd say that. I'm just trying to have a conversation.

I've read through your post and I'd like to make a couple of points. I didn't misunderstand you. I knew what you meant when you said women are not the problem, and I'm not disagreeing with YOU. The point I was trying to make is that many people in this sub have the idea that women ARE the problem (you've explained this as 'red-pill rage'). AND whenever you do suggest that people shouldn't be hateful towards women, the majority of people downvote you. However, I have had people upvote me before w…

So to boil it down to simple terms, 99 billion places allow women to say whatever they want about men no matter how untrue, hateful or sexist it is. Why then, must we try to change/supervise the 1 tiny single lone place in the entire world where men are allowed to say whatever they want about women? Even if you feel it is untrue, hateful, sexist, ignorant or whatever ... what does it matter? We are 1 tiny island surrounded by an ocean. Why must we be targeted? I want to respond to this point in …

I didn't think what I said was confusing. To clarify, my point was that why are you analysing what people say when your analysis could be wrong? Also, in the bigger picture, do you think it's worth the effort of analysing what they say? I find that over analysis of people's words creates judgement, and that can make my experience talking to others worse.

I know what you mean. I've tried analysing what people say and to be fair I still do it to some extent. However I've realised that analysing everything people say can be exhausting to me and unhelpful to the person. I've found that taking what they say at face value and telling them what I think about that is much more helpful to them and makes me less stressed in the long term. So my question to you is now this: is it worth analysing what people say, making assumptions about their actions, and …

Why don't you LOOK at the context of what I'm saying and actually have a conversation instead of intentionally take what I'm saying out of context because you don't agree with my ideas? Any normal person I speak to would know what I mean by 'feels', but instead you say one word out of my long post and criticised me on THAT. Instead of criticising the actual points I was making. Don't use feminine language This is my point. The MGTOW community, a lot of the time, rejects femininity, and this is e…

Why do you suggest getting married and having kids? I specifically said in my post that I have made the decision not to do that.

Tone policing I don't see how my post is tone policing... It's more of "I don't like the some of the ideas on this sub that stem from going your own way". I don't think that's tone policing.

You're basically describing me. This is a good mindset to have in my opinion and you've described it well. I just think after reading what is posted in this subreddit, I don't want to be a part of it. I understand the nature of women, but the people in this sub take that to the extreme a lot of the time. Then there are people like you. You understand but you don't take it to the extreme. Thanks for the reply, you seem like a cool person.

When reading this I was thinking of a counter example involving MGTOW. What if a guy said "My ex was abusive and controlling" referring to a woman, and that he said he is MGTOW because his ex was abusive and controlling. I could think to myself "Yeah if she was so abusive and controlling it's probably because you are beta and submissive and wanted to bend to her every will". See?

Because ultimately, it's not women who are the problem. This. I followed your logic until I read this. Women are not the problem! This explains why the women that I have in my social circle contradict many of the ideas of MGTOW. you don't have to be in an actual relationship with a woman to be screwed over by one with them using the full force of the law against you. Again, this is the fault of the law in my opinion. If this truly is the case in your country (I don't think it is the case in mine…

over 75% of women I don't know where you get your statistics from, but at least have a source when you talk about them. I'm assuming you made that up as an estimation, and in that case your 75% means nothing. keeping back up plan guys Yes, women do this. I know a lot of men do this too, just look at TRP. Is it bad for men to do this? If yes, then you should be hating on men too. If it isn't bad, then why?

You picked out one word (feels) and took it out of context. I can go to a feminist sub and say 'it feels like this sub forgets the good traits of masculinity', and I'm sure you'd say that's valid. What I'm trying to say is that on this sub, it's clear that there are a lot of people who reject femininity. I don't think that's a good thing.

If women were the women they were supposed to be (feminine and not sluts), and society would not allow them to be out of control cunts, you'd have a LOT less people here. A lot of the women I know ARE feminine and are not sluts. MGTOW members often say 'all women are like that'. Clearly all women are not like that as A LOT of them (at least in my social circle) are not sluts.

By this definition, I am MGTOW. I just choose not to participate in the community. I believe being on this sub will make me more close minded in future, and so I go my own way without reading what other people are posting on this sub. Thanks for the reply

In my experience, a woman turns into a monster if you're in a relationship with her. I don't like that part of women, however I do like talking to women. I think having conversations with a diverse range of people (including women) and being open minded about those conversations helps me develop a better perspective on life.

In my experience women are lovely most of the time. I like talking to women and learning from what they say. It's a different perspective than talking to a man. In my opinion it's good to have information from a diverse range of people so I can make the best judgement possible. I don't know why you'd tell me to go find a woman. I've made the decision to be relationship free because I don't like the nature of relationships. It seems counterproductive and anti scientific to not have conversations …
