One of the worst things to happen to America and the entire west is the downfall of clubs and circles. They're still quite popular in Japan. They can be for tennis, golf, or nerdy pursuits like anime and comics. They are only loosely guided by the joint interests and more an excuse for like-minded people to throw drinking and food parties together that keep them engaged and social.

This also has to do with Colorado being soft as fuck on criminals. There are literally still cartel-run apartment blocks, and the city and state governments are in complete (D)enial.

Nothing, but it's income. It's also way too high. Basically, the parent making the high income and should be the one benefiting from the high income by getting to spend their own money on their kid rather than having a massive redistribution from the higher income to lower income spouse. Private school for a full year is under $40k, so $40k/month is just backdoor alimony.

It was so obvious to be promoted you needed to espouse ESG, antiracism, LGBTQ, etc. (some of the stuff I support) and there was no room for individual thought. Honestly, if you can work remotely, move to Asia. The culture is much better and the women are more rational. I'm probably going…

The hypocrisy around it is also nuts. I remember a website talking about how it was disgusting men were objectifying women's sports and then wrote an article about the male soccer players with the best bulges.

Not a fan of strict moderation for anything. Reddit is a democracy, so as long as the content isn't people being offtopic, bullying specific people, or disgusting, it should be based on the upvotes/downvotes.

I'm bi, and I don't know if I'm going to end up with a man or woman, but I do know I want kids. Paternity tests are a necessity! Switching babies happens; it's not common, but it happens!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
