| 0 | I know its an “anon” post but if its true I enjoyed it.The US is losing hundreds of billions of dollars a year in foreign trading. The steel and Aluminum tariffs, which are what most people are considering in regards to a trade war have actually lowered the price of steel and Aluminum in the US. On top of that, just threatening to impose tariffs on China has caused then to lower some of their unfairly high tariffs they had on us, which allows US companies to export more materials into one of the largest markets in the world. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 05/06/18 04:42 AM |

It also bounced back and continued to rise at a steady rate immediately after. Unemployment rates can only go so low. It is impossible to have an unemployment rate of 0. The recovery from the recession in 2008 was the slowest recovery IN HISTORY, so yeah some of those statistics were trending in the right direction but they were doing so very slowly. If they really are our allies, then why screw us over in trade deals?
