You're joking right? Bite marks can be matched to dental records, identifying the accused as the one who created the injuries. Hair is like fingerprints, when tested it show everything from drugs in your system to your age. That can also be used to identify the accused as the rapist. Clothing Fibers are more of circumstantial evidence but are not easily dismissed, since there's only so many ways a specific dye and thread can end up on a another person's body.

Hairs are collected, Fabric samples are collected, bite marks are carefully examined and documented all of which can be compared to the accused's hair, teeth and clothing to determine guilt without having to test DNA. This means the kit still has to be processed.

You're forgetting that "Did these two people have sex" is a stepping stone for, "Was there any injury to show there was force involved?" Putting together a rape kit is an entire exam that covers everything from collecting DNA to recording internal and external injuries received.
