Thanks for sharing, Eastuss. Looking at her like a child is exactly what works. Men get in trouble because we start to uphold logical agreements as well as emotional agreements - and it's a trap. Or as OP of this thread might say, based on the book, it's just the programming women do. Just understand women are not logical.

You were raised by a single mother? Probably age mid-30's by now? I have one more book for you, my friend. Iron John by David Bly. Time to un-brainwash your impression of what it means to be a man from your mother growing up. Source: Only child, raised by single mother.

See that's the logical explanation. But it's actually living in abundance. For example - she gets pissed at you. You hug her. She cheers up. The mood changes. You've manned up. Everyone's happy. Note - Again, remember feminine women aren't logical when they are emotional. She will probably be relieved that you were the positive influence and snapped her out of her angry emotion. Now if she ends up using that as a way to fish hugs from you, then that's a negative pattern about her and that's anot…

Exactly. Now the thing here is - you learn how to communicate with them, but at some point if it's too crazy - if it's too hot - then be prepared to leave. The book uses a far softer language than the book OP has mentioned in this thread. Even so, this book says a man will courageously handle a woman's emotions, but at some point he'll leave if it's too much. I'm paraphrasing, but essentially, learn how to handle the fire by playing with the fire, not resisting it. But if it's too hot, a real ma…

She wants her man to step up and deal with her out-of-control emotional state with masculine strength, and without fear. The book "Way of the Superior Man" by David Dieda is a great "how-to" practice book for doing this. For example, sometimes when a woman gets angry, sometimes we men want to try to reason with them. Because, that's what we do - we reason to de-escalate, right? Well the book says next time a woman gets angry - go up and hug her. Tell her you love her .etc. This may not make sens…

Exactly - women want complete men, at least as complete as they can be (since we're always going to get better with age no matter what). They don't want an incomplete man. That's okay - this gives the incomplete man space and time to complete himself. It's his own work. Sure we men support him, but he has to lift his own weight first and get through the finish line on his own.

Don't crash diet, mega bulk or spend three hours a day in the gym. Are you speaking to this guy?

There is no creature on this planet more entitled than a white woman. Exactly. That's why I go after European women. Note: I'm less than 5'10".

I feel you on that brother (or sister). When I'm at home it's a lot harder to go out by myself - but when I end up out, I have a good time. When I'm traveling solo - somehow it's a LOT easier. Probably because everything is new to you, people see that, and people might be friendlier to that as well. As far as having roommates go - I have roommates to. I just get a sublet if I'm traveling for a long time (like a month).

I highly recommend traveling alone - you are more open to the world out there, and somehow the people you meet gravitate more towards you as a result. Having a good travel partner is important (or else you'd want to strangle each other at the end), but also don't forget the benefit of the huge possibilities of connections you'll make when you travel alone. You have the benefit of the doubt to follow just your gut, make changes to your plans, go out, or stay in at the last minute. With travel - a…

Thanks for the heads up! I'm like a 10-times a day fap kind of person unless I'm outside on a retreat or when I'm traveling, then I don't think about it and it's only 1-3 times a week (funny how that is right)?

If one can take the tough love language of this post, it's actually good advice. For example, I like technology and the internet. In that I would like to reduce my dependency on it. Since I can't sometimes control my urges (okay, usually), I threw away my smart phone and used a dumb phone for a couple of years. When I went back to a smart phone, I got a cheap ass phone that is so low performing that you have to stand there and wait for each command. It can be painful, but it also teaches patienc…

Thanks for the insight - heard from a successful women herself. From all angles, it goes to show: work on yourself, work on what makes you happy, and only what makes you happy, keep moving forward through the "bumps in the road" and success will come because at that point you'll have high SMV from not clinging so much to one source of happiness. Because, after all, you're the shit, but you're also real. Thanks for sharing.

I've been reading your replies - sounds like you're in denial, buddy. But hey, before you get defensive, hear me out: From your point of view you say you're not mixing plate and LTR behaviors (even though you say this is your favorite plate and you regret losing her). But from your favorite plate's point of view, you are. To you it was dread game gone too far, but to her it's cruelty beyond what she can take, that she broke it off. I think a big part of spinning plates is still an awareness of h…

They're out there hustling, actually living it, while you're sitting at home theorizing about why you're failing. Excerpt from Arnold Schwarzenegger's* book, after he had just landed his first major motion picture acting gig (which he won a Golden Globe for Best Debut): "....and now I was the one getting the shot. They'd picked me. Of course now I had to show I was worthy. But I didn't feel at all concerned. I would do what it took to get there. I didn't share my feelings of pride with anybody. …

since I am the one who invited them I feel obligated to pay. My friend. You can invite them to any event you want. And you're NOT obligated to pay. Peep this: I challenge you to carve out one weekend - just one - where you'll go out with females (friends or otherwise) but offer to split the bill at the end. They'll have a strange look in their eyes at first...celebrate that (in your mind, or with us here), because that's when they realize your shift from Beta to Alpha.

Thanks for posting about this. I was going to create a post specifically to break down that exact post (from the sex subreddit) you mentioned in your post here. But unfortunately he deleted it. It was a total case of beta male being in blind belief of his girl. Everything revealed about her added up - she was taking pure advantage of him, and she would probably still drop him in a second if the alpha ex-boyfriend becomes available. Clearly the alpha ex stood poise, figured out what she was all a…
