| 1 | How false accusations destroy livesI don't think that really dispels anything, because we don't know how many of the other 88-93% are false accusations rather than lack of evidence. It took me years to come to terms with what happened to me, and when I finally gathered the courage to seek justice, it was denied because there was no physical evidence. That limited me to a civil case, where I could basically only prove that my rapist and I were in the same place at the same time.
