Why don't women get heat for dating career-oriented men and then complaining about how the man works long hours and is rarely at home?Fair enough. Though, yet here we are, as random strangers on Reddit. Can't do much about the random strangers part here. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/07/23 01:53 PM
Why don't women get heat for dating career-oriented men and then complaining about how the man works long hours and is rarely at home?As your claim is that men change after securing wife and kids, it seems weird to use your parents in that argument. I don't think you have any real input on how your father and your mom were before they had kids. At best, you heard stories of how others remember what happened at least 20 years ago. At worst, they told you a nice narrative that they want you to believe. I am not disagreeing with your claim that men make time for people and stuff they like best. But I'd say that holds for everyone… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/07/23 01:31 PM
Women generally just aren’t that interested in men no matter how attractive because they aren’t as horny. Any interest they do have is greatly overshadowed and diminished by how obsessed men are with women and the anxiety of putting themselves out there or the work involved in courtship. It is just a troll, so it is best to stop feeding them. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/06/23 12:11 PM
Would you rather be a tall, good looking (high functioning) autistic guy or a short unattractive neurotypical guySure, but then their point still doesn't make sense: "Based on her social media and pictures I couldn't tell she was autistic!" Sure, if Ted Bundy had social media, you also wouldn't suspect him to be a serial killer. Is the point then that it is easy to pretend to be someone else on social media? My point would still be: irl you probably do at least get some "weird" or "quirky" vibes from them, so autism is a spectrum is no argument in favor of autism being better for dating than short and ugly… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/06/23 11:00 PM
Would you rather be a tall, good looking (high functioning) autistic guy or a short unattractive neurotypical guyYou really underestimate the effect of autism on how a person acts in new situations and around new people. Statements like "if you really know nothing about how to behave neurotypically" make it sound as if you think someone with autism makes a choice to act weird or is just too uninformed to act "normal". It is similar to say to someone with anxiety "not to be nervous" or a depressed person to "just be happy". Either you really overestimate how much being short and ugly has on someone's life (… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/06/23 11:21 AM
| -1 | Would you rather be a tall, good looking (high functioning) autistic guy or a short unattractive neurotypical guySo, you just look at someone's social media - a profile with messages and photos the user can perfectly control - and you already have a hunch she is autistic. Next, you claim autism is easy to hide. Do I need to explain the contradiction here? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/06/23 09:59 AM |
Would you rather be a tall, good looking (high functioning) autistic guy or a short unattractive neurotypical guyI find it funny that you still pick autism over being ugly. Autism has a really bad rep in dating (and also taking senior or leader roles professionally), so you will send out too weird vibes occassionally. Any advantage of your handsomeness is undone as soon as you come across as weird. At best, you have an easier time attracting women without speaking to then, but then again, if you are autistic, fair chances is that, e.g., the club is not a nice environment for you, and doing proper introduct… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/06/23 09:54 AM
Would you rather be a tall, good looking (high functioning) autistic guy or a short unattractive neurotypical guyFully agree on this. It is so weird that it is apparently okay to hear that people say "autistic people should just date each other, because we are never going to understand it." With any other characteristic, this would be at least weird ("people in wheelchairs should date each other, I can't/don't want to adapt"), a starting ground for toxic relationships ("alcoholics should date each other") or extremely inappropriate (e.g. race, which I am not even going to write out). And yes, autism is a b… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/06/23 09:49 AM
