Great post.

Probably depends on your reaction. If you turn it into something funny like "Oh you want me to take a pic? That'll be $10, I don't work for free", or make the girl jump through a small hoop to get her smartphone back (like telling you 3 things that are cool about her before she gets the phone back), maybe could work? This seems like the sort of thing that seems like a shit test but probably really isn't if you handle it the right way.

You lost momentum of emotion and attraction...why a month between hangouts? You built attraction initially, but you didnt maintain it, so she's no longer interested. I think your only chance is to lay off her completely for a few more weeks, and then re-initiate with a text and see how it goes. Don't get oneitis!!

How exactly am I looking down on people, and how exactly did I bomb with her? Also, I'm a beginner, so being happy with myself for small accomplishments like the steps of opening is acceptable. I think you may be projecting those ego issues.

No, because even as an AFC, I could sense that just saying "do you think I'm cute?" does display confidence, but it's bigger message is conveying that I need her acceptance. Instant turn off. Also doesn't give you much time to demonstrate confidence.

I think this is a great idea. How about in addition to the time constraint, change it from "do you think I'm cute?" to "how well am i dressed?" or "how much are you attracted to me simply based on my clothes?" - then you could transition into how your buddy doesnt think that clothes are important, blah blah blah

Actually, never. That's only because I'm still at AFC stage and just learning all this stuff - just been practicing approaches lately (with minimal alcohol). All 6 times I've tried this (usually with lots of alcohol on board, because hey, AFCs need that), it's worked.

Yes, I meant the forced part - what does that mean?

That's why I said in caps that delivery is key.

Don't do it. I was in a relationship with someone I worked very closely with; it ended in her breaking my heart, and it sucks. Use them as what they are: perfect pivots.

Not sure if you were joking or not. I don't really know why this opener suggests being gay - do gay guys really care if some girl thinks they're cute or not? The approach itself (especially with proper body language) demolishes any idea that you might be gay. Usually I do start kino with an above the elbow touch as a response to something funny or stimulating, but I also think that I don't come off gay at all. I'm generally dressed well but not too well, and my voice and body language are pretty…

I'm such a noob that I don't know what a forced IOI is. Help!?!?

I'm not cute, persay, but I would honestly rate myself a 6.5 or 7. My strengths are confidence, a great voice (a lot of people, girlfriends and not girlfriends, have told me I should do radio or I have a great voice), presence, and good grooming/dressing. I rely on these things to pull this off and so far, so good. It just goes to show - do everything else right, and you can combat those genes that made me a 6.5 and not a 9.

You're right. Kind of ironic (and beta) to be seeking approval. Just guess I was excited to finally realized why this had actually worked and get my theory validated, but if it works, it works. Thanks man.

Success = #, K, or F-close. Because you were curious: 4 # close, one K close, one F close.

You're right about it being an opener to an opener. I always have to have something else in mind to jump to. Success = #, K, or F-close. Because you were curious: 4 # close, one K close, one F close.

I see what you mean about the IOI's - if she's made eye contact with me, or she has more proximity to me, it'd be stronger. Doesn't the idea of approaching her contradict being gay? On top of that, it's all about delivery, eye contact, and body language - if you're alpha as hell about it, it'll be very clear from body and verbal language that you're anything but gay.

I'm gonna go ahead and guess he's mentioned this opener. I've only read Style and Mystery and Roosh V so far, so just consider me a noob.

OK I'm changing the title from "Is this a good opener?" to "This is a good opener." Why? Cause I'm the man, that's why, haha.

You do have a point, however, I'm a noob, and just realized why I think this might work, so I was just looking for agreement from a population of guys with more experience in the area. I wasn't really looking for an answer to a question, more like your thoughts.

Who knows man - she could have been mad at every AFC she's ever met, and had a bad day and took it out on you. I've had a HORRIBLE fear of rejection my whole life. Today, and I really mean today, I had a breakthrough, thanks to Roosh V's book. Rejection is not rejection of YOU - it's of your approach. How could she know you at all? She couldn't know the real you in 3 seconds worth of your direct opener. She's rejecting your approach for one of a million non-logical reasons (women are NOT logical…
