Thank you for taking the time to write this. Why is there a presumption that things will inevitably go wrong with this one girl? Is that the only reason you want to keep the opportunities open with the other girls? I don't really think that this will go wrong. I have had quite some oneitis in the past. My default action here would be to just stop having contact with the other girls. I've been here for a while and now I just know that I shouldn't do that. 2 situations (...) the others. Solid advi…

Maybe you were a bit too strict? A good leader should always propose a date and time, but he should be able to deviate from it, too. If I got it right, the point of suggesting a date and time is to show that you can take the lead, and getting the pressure off the girl.

The take-away message is that you should talk like you're demanding something rather than asking something. So for starters, just avoid getting your pitch up at the end of the sentence. Also, try not to smile too often. Only smile at the first moments of getting to know each other, and when there's a genuine reason to smile. Smiling too much will automatically get your voice pitch up. You don't want that. This is all just my experience, YMMV.

Hey, thanks, this is a really refreshing way to look at it. One thing that sounds like a hassle though, is the three of us actively trying to find a man. I fear that doing this takes the attention off the HB7 too much. What do you think?

Thank you. The visualising stuff will really put me 'in the moment', which is a good thing.

I noticed that you're talking about how stuff feels. That's an important part I often forget.

Really? I think that Alt-J was the shortcut to start the visualisation OP was talking about.

How can I make sure that the conversation revolves around the girl, without falling in Mr. Interview mode?

OP, I can really advice you to watch this video. It is a talk by Nick Sparks on the 21 Convention, and one of the things he describes is what your role should be in a conversation. Find the video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-a1jXgAsQI

I love philosophy. I've noticed that in conversations, I often switch to 'meta-philosophy' pretty quickly. E.g.: Me: "What do you do besides going out here on Saturday?" She: "I like wall climbing a lot." Me: "That's a cool thing to do. You know, a lot of people are staying alive rather than living." I have the feeling that this stuff freaks out a lot of girls. What is your perspective on this? Should I stop it?
