Yeah, go ahead and talk to everybody. But I only would really number close if I a. want to form a friendship that could springboard myself to exciting social opportunities or activities or b. if I am genuinely interested and trying to form a romantic relationship.

I would just orient yourself somewhere comfortably close to her where kino can be easily be involved. Nothing weirder than sitting away from her or across the room if it is a "110%" situation.

I practice on cashiers and other service people. It's a low pressure interaction I suppose that is suitable for good practice.

Read the sidebar my man. Or don't. Have us much fun as possible. It's your prom man. No need to put so much pressure on it. With such little time however, I'd suggest just getting yourself as well groomed and sharp as possible so at the very least, you look good and you feel good.
