I pretty much exclusively text, and use it pretty much only as a method for setting up a future meet, however (as others have said) the age group that I'm targeting are generally more comfortable with texting. You've got a good point...the fact that I knew the only time in the next week was tomorrow, and subsequently feeling a need to push to arrange the Day2 asap may have created a bit of neediness. Certainly wasn't ideal. But live and learn, eh.

I really like the idea of doing some actual hypothesis testing, so much of our stuff here is learnt by trial and error. That's not to say our current methods are bad, but certainly not as robust as they could be. Through trial and error I came up with a first text formula which has had pretty good response times, which might interest you.

I was actually wondering the other day how often sedditors get laid...we generally hear the most successful stuff in FRs, so it's easy to think everyone else is F-closing all the time. I've kept some stats (might be incomplete) but since starting this stuff in Feb I've had 20 #-closes, 9 K-closes, 4 F-closes. Prior to that was in a 5 year LTR so, at age 25, I've slept with 6 women.

Routine from Simple Pickup? Honestly they have some good stuff but this video is an example of how to be a dick in public, unless your skills are at a higher level, best to avoid this sort of direct overly sexual approach. What worked for me (different context though, ex after 5 years together - still oneitis): Delete all methods of contact - delete her email, phone number, facebook (or at least block it so it doesn't appear on your newsfeed) Get rid of anything that might remind you of her - a key chain she got you, it's gone. This formula has worked well for me lately. Get their number. Text her within 5-10 mins "So, I just met this kinda cute girl at [location]..." This method means: a) you've both got each other numbers, b) you keep yourself present in her headspace soon after you've parted ways, c) it indicates your intentions, d) it gives you an indicator of their keenness, depending on the content/timing of their reply. e.g. other night I got a text back straight away "I just me this hot guy at [location] :P". Solid advice here. I'd say I have the first two points down, but the second two definitely give me something to go off, particular in terms of arranging a meetup to "show her the sights of the city".
