He did, but at the same time he was suggesting that the OP was peer-pressured into raising the child, when obviously he himself wrote how much he loves his daughter and willing to stay with her. I don't tend to turn this into an argument with you nor the other guy, or talk about morals. To me and a lot of other people parenting is more than biological.

No dude it doesn't work that way, what if you loved your father and one day when you were a child just told you "fuck off you're not mine" and left. It's unlikely that the other guy will take over and raise the child. It is a fucked up situation but given that he loves the child , he's better off raising her.

Dude...collateral damage ? I hope you're being sarcastic! He literally said that he cannot put into words how much he loves his daughter , and he doesn't want her to go through what he did. He obviously created a strong connection with that kid and it's totally acceptable he can't just be like "you're not mine, fuck off" that's scummy as fuck. Grow up
