I have seen weird stuff in this subreddit but this one is next level.

Friendly reminder that, outside of the "Western Society", the world is still doing pretty well with birth rates. This, together with growing emigration, will solve the problem before any futuristic technology will come forth. [2025 data ](http://"List of countries by total fertility rate - Wikipedia" https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_total_fertility_rate)

I am actually interested in hearing people's harsh opinions. I am often shunned for my draconian views on the laws, but I'm European, so i was wondering if it's something related to culture or not (the owner of the answer comes from America, i suppose, as they were mentioning carrying and concealing).

Would you consider giving such harsher sentences in relation to any kind of crime? Driving drunk, robbery...
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/24 05:13 AM

That's a pretty harsh assumption. How do you know that to make such a firm statement?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/23 11:05 AM

Agree with u/eefr. You shouldn't let an unknown redditor dictate your vocabulary. If they can't differentiate between a short term and a long term relationship, that's their problem. Semantics don't care about one's feelings.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/23 07:22 AM
2

I guess you meant partner, otherwise you would be taking off a good chunk of modern relationships just because of a legal matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/23 04:56 AM
9

Men who are unwilling to pay for dinner are general not serious about building a relationship. Even considering you typed in general this sentence is absolutely idiotic. I don't understand why FDS would claim such a stupid thing. There's no correlation between not paying for dinner and not being serious about relationships.

Sorry, I mean no disrespect, but this has to be the funniest hypothesis i have read in a while here.

So you don't apply judgement and logics and just report what (a small minority of the whole) claim? I'd suggest being more incisive, otherwise people are going to believe you follow/accept anything.

I like how OP is making statements that are valid for roughly 15% of the world, the rich West World society, and making it whole. Then, that's a generous percentage, assuming all the people in it are rich and well so to don't need such bindings.

to prove to your spouse that you have never cheated or attempted to have sex or a romantic relationship with someone This is the male version of paternity testing for men. So are you saying that a paternity test can prove if someone cheated/attempted sex OR HAD A ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP? You might want to see this part again, dear lady.

So is defensiveness among strangers heavier than standing up for yourself and human decency in the final judgment?

Ah! All this time i didn't know i have such a severe condition of being a man!
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 07:15 AM

Why Schadenfreude? "Cynical satisfaction", "Evil joy", how does that fit in with the fact a+30 man wouldn't date a same age woman?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 06:14 AM
1

Which is, IMHO, absolutely idiotic and goes against interest of all parties (specifically in the aforementioned situation of a woman asking a certain man to donate their sperm for whatever reason).

or the replies sent them straight to the shadow realm. That made me laugh, cheers, fellow redditer.

Where are OP's replies to the people who are commenting here? I can't find any.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/22 06:16 AM

Funnily enough, though, if you only consider looks and beauty and not social constructs/restrictions and so on, i think a good percentage of men would answer you they'd gladly be born a woman, work on themselves to looksmaxx rather than hoping to fall within that small percentage of handsome men (which we have to admit, is probably lower than 10% of the western socially beauty-standards responsive ethnics).
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 04:54 PM
1

Fair enough, it just looked to me like you were talking as a general thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 06:33 PM
2

But you really can't generalize like that. I've seen more (male) friends' bodies decay during their 30s than you wouldn't imagine. The fact that many people scream (here) that it is true, it doesn't make it true. Just as much the Catholic Church screaming loudly the Sun was orbiting around the Earth wasn't right either, turned out to be.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 04:22 PM

We already accept that men’s looks don’t fade quickly. That's some bold assumption there.

I don't know about it, but this is another level of discussion. We are talking obese or normal weight here, and i think we all agree about what's the preference.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/22 02:36 PM
7

Yeah, but you are still young and on the track for a mentality change. Keep it up and good luck!
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/22 11:36 AM
33

Not to sound harsh, but reading your edit the fact you are obese could be the explanation for that: sex is majorly initiated by visual stimulation.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/22 11:04 AM
1

Well that you must ask OP, i followed their point where it's claimed a man puts in more time and effort to explain a woman. I just asked what if you flip the genders.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/22 08:12 PM

I was assuming scenario 1, and that is an answer that fits your way of thinking (or at least what i got of it). Have a good one.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/22 09:13 PM

put in the extra ten minutes to explain more complex issues so they understand it, Just curious: when it's a woman who does the same to you because she is more intelligent, of course she is being sexist to you too, following your train of thought. How does it make you feel?

Well i respect your point of view, but i do believe companionship can be a great plus in one's life, be them man or woman. You haven't found one yet, that's all. I hope you someday may change your mind!
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/22 05:13 PM

What is "the same" you are referring to? Mistreating?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/22 04:05 PM

You had bad experiences with women in your life and now wonder why woman feel like that assuming all men feel like you are doing now: isn't that solipsism? If not, how'd you describe it?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/22 03:38 PM
12

This is solipsism at its best.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/22 02:52 PM

To be honest, i don't really think guns and knives would mean anything after nuclear strikes. As someone more powerful than me (and anyone here) said recently: "there will be no winners". Might i add, there will be no survivors.

Egoism.

I see you put in the concept of marriage value, whereas i don't, hence i can't see the addressing. Fair enough. No, I'm not against marriage, i don't know why you are stating that. I don't want ro, but if my gf asked me to, i would, because i would want her to be happy. For the record, I understand your point about the societal scorn: i live in Italy and see that women here suffer the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/22 07:09 PM
1

I'm sorry but i stand my point. This answer of yours doesn't address the issue i brought up earlier about a (possible) partner being fit just because of marriage status and values showed therein. If I may ask, what makes you think he isn't putting your children wellbeing above else, just because he doesn't sign a piece of paper?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/22 06:53 PM
1

One might have same values, yet different way of showing them. I don't think you can say someone is or isn't a good fit because of their views on marriage. Marriage is a social construct, love isn't.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/22 06:22 PM

That horde destabilizes society, and that's not good. To be honest i don't really like (modern western) society as it is now, so a good rocking of the boat could come in handy. I will enjoy that moment, if it ever comes.

/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/22 03:14 PM

I'm very sorry you were offended like that, and I hope I wasn't one of those who made you feel like that (if you are talking about the last post in which we had a brief exchange) Me personally I find it very sexy to see a woman feeling confident, because it has reflection on how she behaves, of course. Probably the sexiest thing, along with intelligence, to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/22 03:07 PM

Fair enough, you've confused me to be honest. I won't bother you anymore. Have a nice day.

/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/22 07:08 PM
1

What makes you assume people start at 20?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/22 07:06 PM
1

Bold of you to assume that so many people have met their soulmate at a certain age. No wonder why there's so many kids with separated parents nowadays.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/22 07:01 PM
2

I'm sorry, but does that mean that you believe he wouldn't have any paternal influence on your children, while living under the same roof?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/22 05:29 PM
3

So you would be looking for a man to be your partner but not live under the same roof? Because, despite them having already a dad, he's gonna be some kind of a paternal figure nonetheless if you were to share the roof with this new figure, like it or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/22 05:08 PM
3

Well then, you could find a man who has his own children from other relationships (more likely) or someone who is okay with being a stepfather (less likely). Edit: spelling mistake.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/22 03:28 PM

Then you perfectly fit into 40-60 years old men who have kids already from other partners/don't want children (assuming yours are already grown ups and he doesn't have to do that, of course, if he doesn't want he won't be a stepfather). I assume the previous comment was talking about women up to their 30s.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/22 07:10 AM

33 here, not bothered at all by young ones starting families. Good for them!
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/22 08:18 PM
2

Actually, there is no such a problem of fertility: the never born citizens of your (western society) country will be replaced by immigrants coming from countries where the average woman has 2/3 children, et voilà. And, as a side note, even though less children is some bad news for the economy, it's actually the best piece of news for the environment. Regards.

I teach in public schools (Europe) and can't even properly have them learn grammar, where is this idea coming from? It's a family duty, just saying.

I gotta say, i love how everything is politics related to you Americans.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/21 11:56 AM

Woah that was a lot implying after just a little comment by her. Just letting you know, western society is not just your little country, so, should she choose to move away from a society she doesn't like, she is more then welcome in one of the rest of the western countries!
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/21 11:58 AM

Also tells a lot about the innate racism, like if I went from Italy to, say, Romania or Tunisia to get laid, i would be labelled like the worst possible, yet she...
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 06:18 PM

It's just genetics. You shouldn't make it look negative, as much as men don't make it look negative that women have a larger hip bones structure.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 01:11 PM
5

If you really travel to Italy and Turkey just to fuck and ignore their culture, i am confident saying not many men would be even Interested in settling down with you. Tells a lot.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 06:11 AM
3

You are pointing out FDS gets backlashing but you only want to know what teachings are wrong, hence you are posing a wrong question. The innate hatred towards men isn't a teaching, yet it's despicable in itself and should be enough to refrain from any kind of interaction with that sub.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/21 07:51 AM
2

Not at all: living in the "Western world" implies a steep decline in births after a big economy spurt like the 1960 to 1980 one. Here in Italy, for example, the IRS already knows that in 19 years from now there will be 1/6 population less than now. I wonder how pensions will be paid though...
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/21 12:00 PM

So, she does live in one.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/21 07:30 PM

It's very likely to be so, too. Also we men tend to not notice stuff around them much...
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/21 12:50 PM
4

Don't misunderstand me, please. Actually, I'd like to add that your answer is insightful and very helpful for the question. It's just many men will realize even more how they have never been glanced at by a woman, hence awakened their interest.

This is going to make so many men feel miserable...

Nude photographic art can be so much more depictive than many Playboy's works, I'd suggest you search this art up or attend a photo gallery show. I was making a parallel to show you how illogical your statement was. That is, unless you are telling me you know better than hundreds of art historians and critics, in which case i will happily put an end to this conversation.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/21 10:56 AM
7

I never stated Playboy is. I was referring to the work of modern photographers like Penn, Avedon, Kargaitsev (to which i have been introduced by a woman, and yes, include portraits of naked men, by the way). Playboy works with photographs, as much as they do. So bold of me to assume you knew any of this existed, i know.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/21 10:08 AM

I think photographers who do nude modelling photoshoots would argue against they are producing porn and not art, but each is entitled to their opinion.

I never claimed i am anything, you just did. I answered to your very low-level personal attacks "read tough books and lift" bla bla bla assuming stuff on people, which btw classifies what kind of a person you are. I need no defence for my hobbies and am very happy about them. Enjoy your sad life, which apparently implies making poor judgements based on no evidences. Regards.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/21 03:47 PM

I just mentioned one, actually. I only play offline games (alone, no competition), only play management games (mostly sport, but also hotel, farming and this stuff) or tactical war (recreation of historical scenarios and/or battles). To assume everyone plays Badass Warrior Man is the stupidest generalization you could do. And FYI I am a teacher and read lots, i go to the gym, do kayaking and cycling, so i think i do my fair share of all the things you've mentioned. Go preach somewhere else, and …
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/21 06:59 AM
7

Why trumping your well-reasoned comment with videogames? I understand the troubles with social media and porn, but i disagree about videogames = virtual masculinity. That's quite a broad category to fill, tell my cycling management videogames!

I am quite impressed at how articulate it is. Here where i live (Italy) the dating culture isn't that serious as it seems on the other side of the puddle. Truly, when i found out about the pillworld, it was like going down the rabbit hole. That said, it is getting harder here, but we aren't even close to being able to compare with America.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/21 12:14 PM

I guess you won't be complaining when you read "men useless/women gold-diggers" over here, then.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/21 10:27 AM
6

Regarding both men and women, i'd like people to be more self aware of their desires, especially when it comes down to having children: i notice a lack of awareness when it comes down to what actually entails in having them and then growing them. Too many times i've seen children ruined by their own parents (i work in education).
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/21 06:27 AM
3

Well as a starter by not using low-generalizations and assuming my small-world-view (or the community of which i am a part, like this one) holds the key to truth. I try to broaden horizons, analyze data from outer circles and far away cultures.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/21 06:20 AM

Not at all, i wouldn't find myself comfortable with saying that women stay in a relationship because they want financial security (which is something i don't think, but people do generalize).

Tell me more about generalization!

HVM will cheat and leave. HVW will struggle to remain satisfied with anything but a very HVM with his long term game on point. This seems quite a harsh thing to claim in absolute terms like this.

Ugh, that took a weird turn.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 03:33 PM

I understand your worries about the Western World, but through all the other parts of it people are having children at a very high rate, so eventually it would all balance out.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 02:53 PM
7

I don't understand, is this a problem for you as an individual or for the population, in your opinion?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 12:20 PM
4

I see a lot of people worried about birth rates which are gonna drop and the world will crash...but you are wrong: first world countries will have this problem, whereas second and third world ones are flourishing and will keep on doing so (Nigeria, India, Brazil...). If you look at the big picture, everything is going to be all right.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/21 12:31 PM

If i were you i would look more into productive-less hobbies and avoid burnout in the upcoming years (i really hope nobody gets that). Since you like reading, i would suggest you In Praise of Idleness and Other Essays by Russell. And then try to enjoy life as possible in contentment.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/21 09:52 PM
