Light dinner and a movie at your place is an ideal 3rd date. I seldom make it through the first 20 minutes.

And she will perceive your value based on how you present yourself. So if you act like she's better than you, then she will feel that you are beneath her. Even if you're Chad, millionaire, etc. If you start simping at any point, she will lose attraction.

Not if you don't like her. IMO the first date is to see if you even like her. She may be very different than her Tinder profile, for example. Could be your very first time seeing her IRL. That's a very different "first date" than some cutie you chatted up at yoga class.
/r/seduction17/12/21 03:54 PM

True. I like the "grab a coffee, go for a walk" first date.
/r/seduction17/12/21 02:33 PM

We probably have different definitions of first date. I'm thinking about essentially a stranger you're trying to break the ice and build a little familiarity with. Guess it depends on your goals, etc.
/r/seduction17/12/21 02:30 PM

Ehhh but I feel like for a "first date" you shouldn't be too thirsty. You're just building comfort. A friendly pet can help with this.

I think coffee shop sitting across is fine for 30 minute first date, getting acquainted, making sure the other person is who they say they are and not extremely psycho. For second date, side-by-side is better to build emotional tension.

"anything that involves pets"?
/r/seduction17/12/21 11:42 AM

First meeting, opposite -- building comfort, think cafe or coffee shop. Second meeting, side-by-side -- building emotion/tension, think lounge or couch.

You: "Why don't we settle this over a nice game of chess?"
/r/seduction17/12/21 10:37 AM

You: "No, I think YOU'RE cute." Like you're telling her she's wrong -- hopefully she plays along... Her: "No, I think YOU'RE cute!" You: "No, YOU'RE cute!" Her: "No, YOU'RE cute!!" etc. You: "Why don't we settle this over drinks?"

Until they fall in love with you and you have to dump them. That part sucks. Kinda makes the whole thing not worth it.
/r/seduction16/12/21 05:13 PM

That actually sounds really defensive. Not a bad frame to have, just don't try to convince them with anything but emotion.
/r/seduction19/11/21 05:35 PM

Okay, but at some point you have to stop ignoring and do something to advance the relationship. Otherwise, you fall into the "aloof" trap -- a high value man who has zero game and consequently only connects with aggressive but lower value women.
/r/seduction19/11/21 05:31 PM
3

Sure, if she's annoying you. I've blocked a lot of girls. But usually ignoring is good enough.
/r/seduction17/11/21 06:13 PM

Usually you hook up a few times and at some point you will have that conversation, whether you want to be serious/exclusive or not. Be warned, if she's really into you she may agree to the FTB arrangement even though she's falling deeper in love with you and thinks of you as her bf. It can lead a bad situation, for both of you.

Yeah, kinda. Women are constantly trying to figure out what value/level a man has. They generally can't just look at him and tell, like we do with them. And everybody wants to be with somebody who is at their level or higher. Much of how they determine your value is by how you interact with them, whether you treat them like a goddess or meh just another girl. The emotional logic is: If you treat them like a goddess, a special special princess, then you must be low value. If you treat them poorly…

If you look like Tusk I think you've got a head start on 95% of men lol I do, but I have zero Outer Game. I'm very good once in a social situation, but I never cold approach attractive women just to do it and it's become a bad habit of inaction. If an attractive girl that I don't know is near me, I totally ignore her even if she's actively checking me out. "Aloof Game", I call it lol Thanks for the channel tips, I'll put something together.
/r/seduction20/10/21 08:16 PM

Actually I need to do a lot more outer work lol If we never open conversations, what's the point?
/r/seduction20/10/21 06:10 PM

Definitely truth to this. Sad thing is, a lot of times I "reject" them not because I'm not interested, but because I don't know what to do next. And because it's often easier/safer for me just to enjoy their signs of interest rather than progress the relationship beyond that. But from their perspective, it's "rejection" nonetheless.

My parents got married 3 days after meeting each other. 60 years together. 5 kids. It happens. OP you might be the one she's been waiting for, so a lot of emotions are flooding out. Return the feelings if and when they come to you.

Great advice, also known as "forward head posture", especially an issue for taller guys. You look like a chicken neck from the side -- very unattractive, but also very common and can lead to painful problems if not addressed. I nearly got a life-destroying cervical fusion surgery to fix this problem, when it turns out all I needed was to do some simple yoga-style exercises to strengthen my upper back, similar to the posted video. I'm all better now, but I still do the exercises every morning. Al…

Kinesthetic -- that is, physical touching. "Kino escalation" is the search term you want.
/r/seduction11/03/21 10:40 AM
10

You "ask" physically. Kino escalation building to the kiss to help prepare her for it and make sure she's into it. Yeah, a kiss from left field is weird af, but after you've been dancing, stroking her arm, her back, playing with her hand, her hair, rubbing cheeks... and she's reciprocating... then yeah go for it. It's a physical conversation, like you're asking questions and getting answers. If she backs off at any point, back yourself off. Same deal with sex.

Dunno that I release them or even suppress them. I try to rise above them. Exercise helps with mood regulation, but what helps best is to address and resolve whatever problems I have. As a crutch, if I'm feeling sad but need to hang out with friend(s), I drink a cup of coffee and that picks me up.
/r/seduction04/02/21 01:16 PM
1

Orrrrrr you can just be seen with other high status people -- cool guys, beautiful women. Others will just assume you're high status and behave accordingly. Most people seem to have trouble thinking for themselves, so if you give them a herd to follow, they'll do it.
/r/seduction22/01/21 09:53 PM
8

If you're a high value man, you have to get adept at blowing off both lower value women ("I have a gf") and lower value men (avoiding/handling fights, etc). Comes with the territory, part of the deal, somewhat similar to the negativity that very attractive women deal with.
/r/seduction30/11/20 10:53 AM
1

I drink a cup of coffee before going into a social situation. It's a crutch, but it works for me. Does not address the "clown man" issue, however.
/r/seduction16/11/20 09:33 PM
6

Or be with a group of cool people. Or, best, be the leader of the group of cool people. It's like women can't figure out for themselves whether you're high-value and worth pursuing without implicitly consulting the opinion of the group.

You're good at interacting with computers, not people. You spend your work day with people that are good at interacting with computers, not people. And, most likely, most of your friends are good at working with computers, not people. So computer-friendly but people-unfriendly behavior gets reinforced. Girls have no problem with IT jobs, per se -- actually, having a decent salary is a huge advantage. It's just that IT guys typically have terrible people skills. Speaking as an IT guy in a previou…

Okay, this is Inner Game. All good stuff. Really valuable information here. But Outer Game matters too. Unless you are content to live your life alone.
/r/seduction21/10/20 02:28 PM
2

I think it's like any other skill: practice, practice, practice. Sure you can read, watch videos, research online but like learning guitar or painting or BJJ or languages or whatever, if you never actually practice, and make all those newb mistakes, you'll never get good at it.
/r/seduction20/10/20 11:46 AM
9

True, but also technical people often spend all day working with technology -- e.g., computers. So they get little practice honing their social skills. And their poor social skills are reinforced by their likewise socially inept peers, including a lack of desirable women. So when they come across an attractive woman, they're way out of their element, out of their comfort zone.
/r/seduction19/10/20 09:51 PM

Maybe combine it with a genuine smile that says "this is very silly, isn't it?" Or just say that exact thing.
/r/seduction12/10/20 02:54 PM

Good personal (Inner Game) advice, but if you never talk to women (Outer Game) you will be a lonely person. Like any skill, it's easy when you know how to do it. It's difficult when you don't. Like any skill, it takes practice (and repeated failure) to get proficient.

I hate to say it, because I'm pretty good on Tinder, but I think you're right. It'd be fine if you could just let Tinder run on the side for the occasional exceptional match, but the Tinder algorithm appears to require you to be active to put you in front of the more desirable women. So it's not just psychologically addictive, but programmed to require constant attention. And if you mentally dump your dating process into that app, you won't bother with the often difficult, uncomfortable day-game…

I guess we all have solid ancestry or we wouldn't be here. It's funny, looking back at my family tree, like my great-great-grandpa only had one child. I almost didn't exist! But yeah there's some truth to the overall sentiment. My dad/mom had 2 kids by the age of 22yo, 4 kids by 28yo. And they did a damn good job of it my most accounts -- none of us in prison, drug-addicted, homeless, all good jobs. That just blows my mind. Eh, I feel they can be part of the overall strategy, but it's real easy to neglect real-life approaching if you're getting 5-10 online matches per week. (I'm pointing at my own mirror here..) Ideally, you'd get good at EVERYTHING, all forms of "game".

> I don't wanna hurt anyone feelings. You can be super duper honest, and they can 100% agree to the situation, but expect that either you or her will develop deeper feelings and be hurt when the other does not reciprocate. Expect it. That's how we're wired. You're kidding yourself if you think there will be no hurt feelings. My opinion, of course, based on experience.

I'm about the same size, and it took me a long time to realize I can be a bit physically intimidating to women. Perhaps you have male "resting bitch face" or whatever, but you may have to consciously change your demeanor and manage personal space to something that's a little less threatening. You might "soften" your wardrobe a bit too. And just assume a girl is interested in you. A hot girl can generally just assume men are attracted to her, right? That should be your attitude. Low-investment way to get to know each other. - Sit on a park bench and eat fruit - Dinner and a movie at home. Make dinner together. Watch a movie at home. Tons of comfort-building; easy to escalate if you're feeling it. An oddball: - Volunteer dog walking.

I'm 48yo and my target female age is 25-33yo, so this comes up a lot. It's always an early hurdle, but if I can delay the answer until after we've been physical, it's not a problem. What works for me is an absurd lie, "I'm 19yo. [they're confused] And you're 17yo. [they smile] Just go with it. [partners in crime]" It gets us past the initial objection. It helps that I'm in Russia, where girls are very insecure about their age -- 25yo is considered "old". And also I'm in very good shape, so the "…

For me, at least, I feel like this is mostly backwards. I'm in the weird category of a good-looking guy who always has moderately attractive, but sexually aggressive, women approaching me. So, being lazy and ego-attached, I never bothered to learn how to approach very attractive (to me) women. The result, of course, was a string of unsatisfying relationships with women I wasn't really into. And it led to a lot of hurt feelings and worse, for which I accept responsibility and deeply regret. Typical answer is that it goes back to the tribal days, where if an approach went badly, you may be ejected from the tribe and left to fend for yourself in the wilderness. In a modern sense, it's against common etiquette -- not a "normal", usual thing to do. And done wrong, it can be very impolite. The irony is, you'll likely have to plow through some "impolite", uncomfortable (for everybody involved) interactions before you get good enough for it to be a positive thing.

Real talk: I set mine to 33, even though I'm upper 40s, then set my profile age to hidden. My rationale is that I'm in better condition than most 30-somethings (especially Americans, whew!). People use age as a gauge of your condition, and just because most people don't take care of their bodies doesn't mean I should suffer for it. AND... their "game" is probably terrible as well. You know, I've flatly rejected many, many, many hot girls before because I simply didn't know what to do. And it saved my ego the embarrassment of not knowing what to do to just act aloof and assholish, and just avoid/shutdown the situation -- just being real. If they had somehow taken me by the hand, it would have happened. I bet some of them were really amazing women. It's an interesting thought, maybe some compassion is due, something like "Do…

Too imprecise. There's a difference between somebody who is attractive enough, but I could kind of take or leave, and somebody who is so attractive my heart skips a beat and I really, really, really want to meet. But if I only approach the latter, and ignore the former, then my game won't be up to speed. It's a good question. Silly, really. I have less anxiety about fighting a 200lb dude than walking up and talking to a 100lb hottie. I think the common answer is that we used to live in tribes. If you got kicked out of the tribe, you're pretty much dead. So if you botch an approach with a female, and you get kicked out of the tribe, you're dead. Hmm maybe. This is the correct behavior. The strategy, I think, that underlies this is the concept of Leveling, or Value Estimation. Everybody, both men and women, wants to be with somebody of equal or (ideally) greater value than their perceived value of themselves. A 6 wants to be with a 6 or higher, for example. Men pretty much determine a girl's value by her physical attractiveness. Harsh, but simple. Women determine a man's value by his.. social status -- a more complicated concept, including everythi…

You're fine regarding age. As a man, you can date younger women. Call it a perk. At some point, their flakiness and immaturity will get tiring, so you adapt and adjust. Enjoy yourself, take good care of them. Maybe I'm an outlier, but I'm late 40s, dating mid-20yos. I'm in good shape, successful, but my game is almost non-existent. I must find a way to work this factoid into a pickup. I don't even care if it's true.

BUT you still have to approach. If you only date women who approach you, you'll be stuck with the 6.5-7 range -- that is, mildly attractive women. https://www.reddit.com/r/seduction/comments/ch40sn/fr_cold_approaching_two_girls_at_a_coffee_shop/

Story of my life -- a string of aggressive 6.5s and 7s that I was never really that into... and who I ended up hurting. Great job on the coffee shop pickup. Keep it up!

easy: Netflix/chill But know that in FWB situations, one or the other almost always develops deeper emotions. This can end very badly. You've been warned.

It gives a sense of urgency. I've come to believe that we live on through our children. So... even more urgency.

Eh, no. It's not that people want what they can't have. I think it's "leveling", as ToddV puts it. People want to mate with somebody they perceive to be of equal or higher social value than themselves. Men can generally just look at a woman and determine her social value, as it's strongly based on her appearance. A man's social value is a bit more tricky, relating more to his leadership and provider/protector ability -- women have to use a cocktail of social cues to figure it out. If a girl se…

Dug this up on the Wayback Machine, so pardon the load time. Just a short documentary about dating tourism in the Odessa, Ukraine area. It's pretty cringy, a bit sad, kind of sweet... I found it interesting. Has anybody else here spent time in Odessa? (originally found here: https://np.reddit.com/r/cringe/comments/4hy3fw/veteran_strikes_out_on_ukrainian_dating_tour/ )

Ive already gone black, unfortunately it didnt work but im still open. You know what they say.. Once you go black, you may find that it doesn't work for you, but you should remain open to such relationships in the future.

It can be seen as a bit rude to hit on women in public. At bars or clubs there's more of a presumption that they're there to meet men. That said, I need to work on my daygame in a big way. I don't like bars and clubs, and I don't generally like the type of girl who frequents bars and clubs. So that leaves... daygame. Okay, and social game and online game which are coming along nicely.

Fuck it. Don't wanna be an old man, alone. I just want to see what happens. I'm going to screw this up on purpose.

First date in your bedroom. Hmmm. Sure. Know that "Want to come over and watch a movie?" is code for "Want to come over and fuck?" You're gonna need more comfort and attraction. I live in the city, so my favorite first date is to grab coffee to-go and walk n talk in a park somewhere. If I'm hungry, I'll bring fruit to share because I hate junk food. Try to drop by my apartment once or twice before inviting her over to movie/fuck night.

Provide value rather than extract value and people will flock to you. It's more work to be the leader -- to host the parties, to arrange the trips, to organize the meetups... to start a business -- but people want value and (relevant to this sub) women are hard-wired for attraction to the tribe leader. I see this more as providing value than abundance mentality, but they go hand in hand. You can't give away value unless you have abundance. Tinder... 5 or 6 good pics that tell your story in a…

Hey I'm an American in Russia, so I'm in the same boat to some degree. Here's an idea that may help: Create an English-speaking (or English-Japanese speaking) club on Twitter/FB/Instagram and meet IRL once a week. It's a group for people to practice and improve their English-speaking skills -- and, if you want, work on your Japanese. You can make it as structured or loose as you like -- from prepared lessons and exercises.. to simply going around the table introducing yourselves and chatting i…
