I disagree, I feel like most people are a little bit crazy you just got to find the crazy that you like. Though more attractive woman are probably more likely to be open with their craziness as they don't have any issues getting men where as less attractive woman have to hide it to not scare off a dude early on.

For me personally just constant exposure to social situations that make me uncomfortable seem to work the best for over coming social anxiety. Having positive and supportive friends also helps and of course working out and cardio. My cousin that has severe social anxiety claims mixed martial arts classes helped him immensely. I have a few drinks but never to the point where I have a hangover. I always have a glass of water between drinks. I'm taking creatine and anti-depressants so I'm not actually supposed to drink.

I think what helped the most was just constant exposure and gyming. I started putting a lot more effort into myself and making it a mission to be more social. Putting yourself out there really diminishes that fear response you get from anxiety but you have to stay consistent and not fall back into avoiding any uncomfortable social situations its almost like your brain rewires what's supposed to trigger your fears/awkwardness.

Don't think about whether or not you're going to talk to a girl just say 1. 2. 3 fuck it and introduce yourself. Think of every girl you talk to as practice so even if you fail its a success. Live music venues with a young crowd, took about 5 different bars before I actually found one I liked. As for approaching girls I usually just comment on something I like I about them or ask about their drink if it looks interesting sometimes if it's a group of girls ill say something like "where you hiding your boyfriends" or "You guys look fun can I hang out with you?"

Bars are the best dude, it's difficult at the beggining especially if you go alone but after about a month of just going out of your comfort zone talking to girls and interesting people it becomes really fun. Probably what I look forward to the most on the weekend now after being an introverted loner my whole life. Just look around and find a bar that suits you they all have different vibes.
