I don't think it's just overly vocal feminists. I often hear people say "they're just a radical" and "most feminists aren't like this", but when you look at the people trying to change laws and actually enact action in the name of feminism, they tend hold to the same views as those who are deemed radicals. I think the pendulum has now swung the other way, so much so that many people are conditioned to adhere to the "female=victim", "male=aggressor" mentality.
