This is a great post. Guys who have dealt with this have a whole different understanding of AWALT. It's an ugly side but it opens your eye WIDE to the shit that gets pulled. Stay strong man, her shit isn't your shit.

Nice work having a little fun with this situation. Once you've been with a bitch like this, you know these tricks all too well.

Great post, thanks for doing this. It really demonstrates no matter what you do, you can apply your frame to be the best you can and always strive to rise to the next level. I got into custom PC building/modifying recently and can't stress working with your hands on a physical craft enough, it feels amazing to design and create something for yourself. A few of mine: Geocaching Exploration. Problem solving. Creativity. Perseverance. Predicting thought patterns. Caching is interesting in that it c…

I'm not going to say anything is future proof. Look at what 3d printing has done in the last 10 years, from nothing to nothing-is-impossible. That said, efficiency and speed of a CNC is going to beat 3D printing for a long time. You 3D print for prototypes and short runs, CNC for production. CNC machining will always exist in some form or another.

I can't directly comment on the oil industry but everything I've heard says expect tough working conditions and brutal hours. /u/putsch80 doesn't paint a rosy picture either. I work in blue collar manufacturing, went to a 2 year trade school for general manufacturing and electronics. I would 100% recommend looking in CNC machining. You'll get your hands-on experience and be in HUGE demand. If you get a two year degree right out of high school (I'd recommend that, at least start on it), you'll ha…

An interesting thought: did his wife push him to that or did he push himself to it to keep his life intact?

I saw this on TIFU when it was originally posted, pre-TRP days (I'm pretty new here). I'm someone who has been the BB all my life but has hovered on the fringe of alpha, not quite putting it all together, or having a phrase for what alpha was. Seeing this post stirred those feelings again, but post-Matrix that story has a whole new meaning. Don't be John.

This is great advice. If you're having trouble finding local dudes you share hobbies with, check major forums for you hobby and see if there are locals. Meet up.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
