Ugh, seriously kid, I am not making up fringe extraordinary events up. LISTEN to what I wrote before. Everything you wrote is stupid. If you're physically harming someone without being able to prove consent you're an idiot. Especially if you pick someone up at a party. Physically harming lol. No summer child. No. The concept of innocent until proven guilty is enshrined in law It doesn't work that way in practice. The damage of a simple accusation isn't typically a legal thing You're a fucking mo…

If enough damage was done to cause scarring it's highly unlikely to be consensual. But what would even cause scarring? Like fucking her with a broken beer bottle? Not for most people or sexual encounters, it's one piece of evidence. If you want to be physically hurt or someone wants you to do that you need to take precautions laying out proof of consent. Obviously not so much as a contract, but multiple texts, emails or whatever to show that the alleged victim did consent to that kind of thing. …

Again, I don't know how scarring occurs during sex but bruising and irritation can and do happen during consensual sex. The bottom line is people need to be careful to avoid situations where they can be taken advantage of. A woman goes to a party, has a couple drinks, and sketchy dude rapes her. How should she have avoided that situation? Alternatively, a guy goes to a party, has a couple drinks, hooks up with a hottie, and the next day she says he raped her. How would he have avoided that? The …

Why would that matter though if it can't prove or disprove a crime occurred?

Bruises and fingernail cuts are not definitive. It doesn't even have to be particularly rough sex for a woman to rake a man with her finger nails in the heat of the moment, and hell, I have mystery bruises from just banging into stuff completely non sexually, not to mention rough sex which can account for that all consensually. Not sure how you'd get scars from sex... But that doesn't help a woman who was raped and she didn't want it but her body responded to the intercourse from simple biology …

A rape kit can't distinguish consensual sex from rape though, that's the problem.

Rape is a terrible crime but since it usually leaves no evidence it's something that becomes one person's word against another. And call me crazy, I think there should be evidence of a crime for a conviction. But that means women will end up raped with no legal recourse. Or else men end up in jail on false charges. I don't see any great solution myself. Bodycams?

You're 20, you don't know anything about anything yet and neither does your boyfriend. He's going to say stupid insensitive stuff because that's what young boys do. You'll do stuff young girls do, like think this relationship is going to last. It's only natural. Two years isn't a LTR. Your tits will sag one day no matter what, it happens whether you're overweight or not and no matter what bra you wear, that's just nature. And that's all just a part of life. We all go through it.

Heard the accent, saw "Good Morning Britain," didn't care what they had to say any longer.

Hello again. I'm 36, in a 17yr relationship. I also rarely have anything to add, but I enjoy reading this sub. Femininity isn't a bad word here, and all the posts show such decorum. You don't see that every day online. Keep up the great work!

I'll second the 3 date rule. I don't see how people wait months for sex. But I have to say, I've been with my SO for 17 years, and we slept together on the first date. Sometimes you just click.

Male lurker here, I just find this approach to feminism appealing. That you can be strong, beautiful, capable, and still have a man in your life without going to some hippie extreme. That being feminine is not a bad thing. I applaud you all. Edit: Oh, you women say you're anti-feminist in the side bar, but I think this is more feminist than those that would call themselves "feminists." It's not all about hating men and not shaving.

And I'd take life advice from a 20 something year old redditor because....? You guys were onto some useful psychology here, but you went to the douchebag side of the force. Stop the he-man, woman-hating bullshit. Stick to what works and keep your asshat ideologies out of it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
